Haupsturmfuhrer Vetkin pulls out his pistol and executes the lieutenant who so recklessly charged in his left flank.

To the middle, the gruppe's tanks advance undeterred by anything, forcing a squad of American paratroopers to retreat.

Up to the right flank overwatched on a hill, a Hellcat, a 37mm halftrack and another halftrack (20mm I think) is destroyed.
A bazooka team is also forced back.

My force has taken the VHes to the middle and soon to the right flank. Although my left flank is nothing but 2 half-tracks who have defiantly taken the VHes.

Back to you nothing much to report, I killed those halftracks and a Pz-III, with as many Tigers as you have your force must be mostly Armor:eek:

But you've cut my force down considerably... and I have nothing left in my left flank...

Not much happening, my tanks are repositioning and a bazooka team up north is roasted by my flame half-track.

That turn two more Tigers die, and a Panther. One more thing that flame Htrack paid for it's crime:)

Up north I take VHes unopposed as a few tanks remain on overwatch.

In the middle I catch and destroy a recon jeep and an M3 command car. I also destroy the crewmen of some tanks who are bravely stupid enough to advance against the hill.

To the South, where my line has been shattered, a squad of elite SS troops destroy a Quad .50-cal half-track with a Panzerfaust.

My Flame halftrack for your .50cal half-track, seems like a fair trade to me

Kill a Panther and a Tiger. I also throw some machinegun fire into the troop guarding you rear hexes, and some Arty, moving foward trying to encircle.

This is a classic example of how NOT to leave your flanks open and how NOT to forget RECON

I'll try to see what I can do with the remnants of my kampfgruppe

American Recon and paratrooper elements have reach my rear VHes, I push one squad back using direct fire from a 50mm mortar. Not looking good though, my HQ is guarded only by 1 squad of SS, the other one was destroyed earlier.

I have no southern flank since everything there is destroyed and that is where I suppose most of the breakthrough is coming from.

I retake the VHes up north, destroying an M18 Hellcat in the process. The situation in the middle seems unsalvageable. With the southern flank hanging in the air, every tank that tries to engage with enemy forces are hit from the sides.

This is a dark day... the only remaining forces I have are 1 understrength and spread out platoon of SS, 1 engineer squad, 2 Tigers, 1 Mark IIIL, 2 Flame half-tracks, my HQ and a spattering of crewmen all around....

They say 1 Tiger is worth a company of Shermans.... Time to make this saying true

I kill two Tigers and a Flamewagon, and take his rear hexes, almost have him sorrunded. I should be able to retake the Hexs soon:D

In the middle, my crack SS squad, with 5 men left, destroy a presumptious M3 Command Car. All the crewmen also converge on the middle hill to form a last stand against the Americans.

My HQ is surrounded and will probably surrender soon in the rear. My nebelwerfers have been out of contact 2 out of 3 turns in this battle.... grrrrr

Killed that Pz-III and the flamer, you HQ and many squads are dead as well, a SS squad killed a M8 armored car ;-(

Surrender and we will fight again, this time a few more points and a bigger map if you don't mind

What a defeat!!! I've never been beaten sooooooo fast in my life hehehehe (Oh well, this is my 3rd PBEM game, I won my first one decisive victory)

What's funny is this one finished before my 2nd game could... hehehe oh well
