Commrade we have

Tanks and infantry moving in all along the middle and southern fronts.
"LAUNCH OPERATION SUPER-STRIKE NOW!"
The forest erupt with the noise of tank engines starting and half tracks moving through the trees.
The British commander watches transfixed as savo after savo of artillary smoke lands just where his men had moved forward to engage the RED army. A cold chill goes up his spin as he watches his men disappear as a cloud of smoke engulfs them and cuts off his overwatching tanks, MG's and ATG's. Then, the screaming begins.
Reports of Russian Guards attacking from the flank, from in front, from the rear. Reports of MK3's being bombarded by Bazooka round after Bazooka round. To find out that was only the softening up wave. The forests echo with the explotions of MK3's, Comets, Staghounds, AA Stagehounds, Half-tracks as Russian Guards pour out of the woods to lay seige and attack with assualt after assualt the overwelmed and besieged would be attackers. As the British infantry dismount out of their half tracks they are ripped apart by Quad 50's supporting the infantry and T-44's tasking the Centurions and Comets.
The British commander screams into the radio "Report, I need a report" in vain as all he can hear in the distance is the explotions of sachel charges and quad 50 machine gun fire.

No good news to report, breakdowns are hurting me badly, one bright spot I killed two T-44s, they were in the open, the bad thing this map is mostly trees.

I knew that was going to happen but I am kind of running out of rome to retreat, the US will save me in the next battle, hopefully

We have crushed your Southern salient. Your Centurions and Comets are formidable but our T-44's have left them as slag. You have one AA Stagehound kicking around down there but I will find him soon.
The Motherlands army is moving forward. There is nothing you can do. Soon the RED TIDE will sweep over you and will wipe you out of this small area of Europe. You should not have ever come off that little Island of yours. Germany is OURS.

Commrade let us not turn defeat into slaughter. Save your men and accept the inevitable. The US is not comming to save you. This battle will be well over before they ever cross the Pacific. Come I will be kind and generous to your men. I will even alow them to Join the Great Republic. Come come now let us not drag out your pain.

Yes Captain.
General we have broken through their lines in two places. We are starting to clean and sweep and are netting many support units. The Brits have brought in a number of reserve tanks and are holding along the Northern and middle fronts. But we have them flanked and they are starting to form pockets of resistance that we can issolate and destroy piece meal.
So Captain why have we had such an easy go of it?
Well General the Brits they never learn, they made two serrious errors against us.
First the forces they brought against us were comprised mostly of tanks. Well in HEAVY FOREST tanks are ok but not against our infantry. We were able to get in close time after time and destory the tanks by assualts. Also the Brits had a tremendous number of breakdowns. We came upon a number of tanks that were disabled that made easy targets.
What else Captain?
Second Sir it seems the Brits did not bring any support artillary. Sure they had some very heavy 7.2 mm artillary way back behind there lines but nothing close supporting the troops. This made it very difficult for their commander to hit our troops. Almost every barrage he ploted was a miss due to our troops having moved. Also sir his artillary ran out of ammunition!!!
Great work captain. Lets see if we can clean out these pesky Brits without losing any more of our T-44's thoughs are expensive tanks and Mother Russian does not have them in such great supply that we can just let them get blown to bits by MK 3's.

Ofcourse I agree, I'm thinking on upgrading with the new OOBs, I don't mind so much a 12man infanrty squad with AT weapons knocking out tanks, but those recon squads with no AT weapon to speak of routinly destroying haevy armor is just ridiculous, may disable occasionally but destroy I just don't see it. Same thing goes for the motorcycle squad, open halftranks light armor ok but tanks just doesn't make sense

Anyway you should kill me in one more turn

A victorious Col Tatrovosky walks up to the German General VikingNo2.
"Well you put a great fight. I honor you comrade. Please come to my command tent and we will talk about the battle and better times ahead."

Great Game JJ, I think that puts us at 1 DV each and a one Draw. Now we just have to finish our rubber match. I take the chicken and you get the ducky. :D
