Hey Red, I just peeked at the Canadian OB after May '45 and I would suggest to Comrade Stalin that we try to invade as early as possible ... the Canadian war machine seriously declines after about 1944! My agents are ready and waiting ... let's hit 'em early and make the world safe for a worker's paradise! I would suggest an attack in '41. Naziism will be our next opponent, but with the factories of the capitalist warmongers, we cannot be defeated! Hail the rise of the red Maple Leaf!!! comrade willy will lead the fierce canuck commie militia!

Scenario A: 1941 - USSR and Canada unite to liberate the workers of the Northern America from the evil capitalists.

In January 1941 election Red Maple Leaf party wins unexpectedly with a landslide victory. US and UK outraged by the Red Scare (nice play of words ha? ) launch a pre-emptive strike to install a friendly regime. Soviet Union manages to squeeze several divisions of 'volunteers' across Beringov Straits to help Canadian comrades before the Straits are blockaded by US Navy.

Scenario B: 1944 - USSR and Germany (?!), having decided not to fight on two fronts Hitler signs a pact with Stalin against US and UK. A joint invasion (USSR-Germany) is launched across the La Manche. As the troops are rolling off the landing craft they are faced with a join US / UK force.

Either one sounds good to me, Comrade Red ... let's let the capitalist running dogs decide!
How about a 10% cap on arty and a limit of one air strike per player ... also no prelaid mines (I'm flexible though)

After checking the Canadian OB, I would suggest we wait until late 1941 or early 1942 rise up, otherwise the only Canuck AFV's are Vickers VIb's and Armoured cars. Ideology must take a back seat to practicality:(

Since it is a joint operation, you can borrow some Soviet AFVs.

I like both, but if we do B then, I think the force agaist Germany and Russia should be US and UN what do you think?

For Hades I like Scenario B the best do you want the US or the UN
"B" is a good what if; if USSR and Germany could have gotten along. I an iching to get started, Red and Willy start talking stradagey

Air 1 maybe 2 paras I guess but if you buy the plane there you can't buy strike aircraft, I'm thinking 2 give me you thoughts
