A MG and an infantry squad are destroyed in the rear as infiltrating guerillas consolidate into better positions.
The front remains at status quo as shots are traded back and forth and casualties are suffered by both armies. Bloody battle of attrition... The south is still holding as covering 30 cals take care of those who get through the infantry.

It seems the Japanese have decided to concentrate their armor to the north...
A few firefights here and there result in casualties for both sides. The south is still very secure as any squads which breakthrough are peppered with MG fire.
The north however is threatening to break due to the platoon + of armor advancing along with the Japanese infantry.

Another Japanese tank, a Type 4 Ke-nU is destroyed this turn by assault. Another infantry 'B' squad is also wiped out. Flanking Japanese troops in the South are engaged by overwatched MGs and 3 squads are forced to retreat back into the jungle after suffering a combined half-dozen or so casualties.

Not much action this turn. Philippine rifle squads trying to move forward in the middle are beaten back by Japanese infantry. Some japanese crew stuck behind my lines are wiped out by grenades.
Artillery is very interesting this turn though. Your big 150mms smashed across MY lines and YOUR lines, and my 105s smashed on both our men too (at least I hope it got some of yours...) Talk about friendly fire...
