May 12 evening: Turn 1 Battle 1 Houx - Results

French AT guns take out a German tank right at the start but then one of them is destroyed while other is abandoned allowing German armour to drive around the map destroying all French infantry squads encountered. The end result is a French morale break with 3 VL's being given to the Germans. The French remain on the map though...

Sent the tanks straight across the bridge and followed later by the infantry.

The AI had 2 guns that were badly positioned so they did nothing to prevent the German tanks from wiping out the French infantry.

I was greedy and spread my troops too thin trying to capture all the map. The French forces were concentrated and had a Panhard armoured car for support killed my infantry squads one after another until my morale broke.

The German attacked pinned a number of FRench squads in town and then pushed South to cross over the river at the rail bridge.

May 12 evening: Turn 2 Battle 6 Pouillon - Meeting engagement

The Germans lost 2 armoured cars before being able to destroy the 2 French guns deployed. After they were gone the remaining armoured cars ran around capturing VL's and killing troops they ran close to.
This was an important map to get in one battle to open up a supply line for 3 other German BG's.
