With both sides losing equal numbers of tanks.

As long as we are hurting the Americans with equal numbers of losses we should do fine. That's the plan, use attrition to work in our favor.

Our gunners score yet another kill on an American tank.

But this duel is not yet over and we continue to trade tank losses.

Since the US force has now determined where our forces are we need to react with speed. It's time to move our forces forward as we hammer the outer edge of the town with our artillery.

Thanks for the AAR, enjoying watching both of you guys slug it out.

This is my first experience as using a Soviet force composed mainly of BTR-80's. They aren't good for much other than being a battlefield taxi. In the game though I can't dismount the infantry and attack with them on foot. Which is what should be happening.

The next couple of combat rounds we trade casualties with the Americans.

And then more Americans show up.

The Americans open fire from ambush and kill more Soviet heroes.

But our men fight back like Siberian Tigers. Even when ambushed we kill Americans.

All at once there are American forces everywhere and we are in the middle of a firestorm.

There are Antitank missiles flying in all directions. Wherever you look you see the little smoke clouds that mark another ATGM launch.

Can we survive this onslaught?

Miraculously the first wave of missiles misses all Soviet IFV's and the first victims of this ambush are Americans.

Good Hunting.

But then the American missiles start to hit our vehicles. As I watch in horror vehicle after vehicle is hit. No matte how much fire we pour into the American positions...no matter how much lateral movement we make the missiles continue to find their targets.

All I can do is watch my men die.

And the missiles just keep on coming.

Where is our artillery????!!!!

While this was happening out combat formations were momentarily shocked into inactivity. But then they began the advance again.

Our Heroes Advance!!





At this moment the only thing saving our attack is the American fire is only claiming single vehicles at a time. While the news is bad enough if we can punch through the outer crust I'm sure the inner defense is much softer.

As the artillery moves south of our own start line to bring the American units into direct fire view they too are ambushed.
