Looking forward towards another interesting game!

After Colonel Pekar defeat the german army is closer to Praga.

Next stop is a group of hills. These hills control the road. If the hills are cleared by the german army the czech surrender will be unavoidable.

Czech HQ has deployed in the field his best commander to stop the german advance and eventually counterattack.

Colonel Rentka looked from his position the advancing cloud of dust in the road. Then he radioed to the forward units to wait for the signal and concentrate fire on the leading tank.

When he saw the tank column with motorcycles on its flanks had starting to descend the hill and advancing towards the river bridge, he issued the order.

- Start firing. Fire at will !!

The battle started and shells started to rain by the road destroying the leading panzer almost inmeadiatly.

2 Czech tanks destroyed.
1 tank abandoned.
Situation stable - but what are the trucks doing on that southern hill?
And what is the intention of the bicycle troops?

i think my gunners need more training.

The battle continues.

Colonel Tost looked grim.
The advance on the northern flank was a horrible error - they destroyed an engineer squadron, but now a recon vehicle was in a position were it would surely be destroyed by Czech infantry.

And where are these dreadfull 83mm guns?
From where did they fire?

Suddenly, someone was yelling "Mortar fire coming in!"......

the hills are under german control, but czech batteries are well entrenched and camouflaged and starting to make widows.

Tank losses now serious.
Tactical withdrawl taken into consideration.

Enemy attack halted. stop. key hills under german control. stop.

Counterattack under way. stop.

end of transmission.

Tank losses continue.
Enemy gun batteries must be neutralized at all costs.

Stiff german resistance.

No enemy weak points discovered yet.

One more Czech tank gone.
Mortar fire placed on potential Czech gun positions.
All in all, situation is stable.

Colonel Rantke said to his platoon commanders:

It's imperative to take those hills. Tell the infantry to follow the motorcycles and may god help us.

BTW german tanks are sitting ducks in view of our AT guns.

A German probe into the southern flank was beaten back by a Czech tank and some bicycle infantry, the remaining front line is stable.

Czech troops in pursuit of retreating cavalry in the southern flank.

Pression continues in the northern flank.

Artillery hill under fire (do you want to check if you have knocked out anything?)

There are too many Czech tourists running around...
The sight of the artillery hill (also I doubt that you really have your artillery on that hill) from far away is fine enough for me.

And my latest tactical achievement (pursuing some Czech bicycles directly into the line of flames of a Czech engineer unit - one cavalary unit less for me) has convinced me to stay and wait.
