Ok, have you played case blue phase one scenario which is in the expansion? I tried this one the other night as axis and lost three times. They either move only one hex or hold. I'm basically trying the same strategy for this scenario as I was for Road to Minsk. This looks easier but seems a bit more difficult to win. I have been using my inf to clear the way to the main city but just can't make it there on the first turn.

I don't expect you to play it and post a pictorial walk through as you did with Minsk but can you, if you are at all familiar with the Case blue scenario, give me some tips?

Case Blue - Phase 1


Ok, so a few things worth mentioning again;
1. I am not a good player
2. I do things my way, others would do things in other ways
3. This is to win the Case Blue - Phase 1 Scn
4. This is NOT how I would do things in a bigger campaign
5. Nor is this the only way to win this one, but it is one way.

So, I have tried to explain some things in the screenshots, hope it is of some help, and if other more experienced players wish to add their better advice, please do so.
Also worth noting, I only got a minor victory here, and too tired to go back and do another one atm, but hopefully it gives some pointers [:)]

*edit* Not ALL the extra AC losses are from airbase overruns, some are also from interceptions etc.
