I think you misunderstood my situation. The Germans are no where near Stalingrad. They were surrounded and destroyed in front of Moscow. Also, I found the Russian attack CV factors in THE BLIZZARD to not be a very good indication of success. Frequently an initial counter 2:1 ratio results in German victory vs Russian attack. Perhaps it would be better to be on the play test team, since diverse versions are coming out in large numbers. I volunteered, but have not been contacted to start.

That may not be enough. You can bump up the Morale setting, which is one of the most crucial settings in terms of AI abilities. My last 41-45 GC I started vs Axis AI on 90/110, but I bumped it up to hard (80/120) after first blizzard as it was a bit too easy up to that point. My next AI vs Axis 41-45 GC will be started on hard setting, to give a more difficult 1941. Some of the experienced playtesters have said that the AI game doesn't become a true challenge until you're playing with the hard or impossible difficulty settings.
