I'm working in the Customer Support department of a download shop. One day I got a mail from a customer complaining about an installation problem. Either he made a really strange typo or had a nice Freudian slip. He wrote: "Halfway through the install it stops and a message says 'Please insert d*ck' (i.e. disc). The entire all-male department was ROTFLing...

Sometimes these are "you had to be there" moments, but what is the one time in your life you laughed the hardest?
Well, maybe not the hardest, but close.
A friend showed me that video after I had a few glasses too much, and it is really evil.
I still have to laugh when I watch it. That poor guy. Can you imagine how that must feel. To simply be unable to stop
laughing? And he tries. He really tries.
High pitched voice
The weird thing is, when watching this version, I actually felt really bad about laughing in the first place.
The moderator is a poor guy who lost a job he loved dearly over that episode and was completely heartbroken.
Erik talks about losing the Boomerang Show
But still.....aaaaarghh.....I simply cannot.....

Not gunna lie.. I didn't even know what they were saying until I found the captioned version.. but yes.. I too.. ugh.. laughed.. as you say.

awhile back when i was in grad school, Angela was a classmate. we'd all meet regularly at a dive named "Angie's Pub", one evening she told us her story:
"My parents are hippies, for years we had a parrot that lived on a perch in the rec room. After I went away to school, they got a puppy, & whenever they left the house, they'd shut the puppy up in the rec room. One night they got back from the movies to find the puppy cringing in a corner, while the bird continually squawked, 'bad dog... bad dog...'. "

Probably the first time I ever saw 'Duck Amok'. Daffy banging on that anvil/shell was hilarious.
That's one of my all-time favorites, along with "Oh, yeah? Well, abra cadabra! I'm a bat!" from "Transylvania 6-5000", and Sylvester's reaction the first time he sees Tweety after Tweety drinks the Hyde formula in "Hyde and Go Tweet". (I use the latter as a humorous introduction to the concept of failing a san roll for noobs in
Call of Cthulhu.)
Once I was playing naval minis at a convention, and we were doing a modified River Plate scenario. In addition to the
Graf Spee, which I commanded, the Germans had a
Leipzig-class light cruiser, and the Allies had, in addition to the historical cruisers, HMS
Cumberland and a French light cruiser of some sort, which arrived as a reinforcement sometime after the battle had been joined. After placing the Frenchman on the board within about 10,000 yards of both the
Graf Spee and the British, the referee announced that the French had misidentified their target, and the French player was required to fire a full broadside at HMS
Exeter, which was commanded by a close friend of mine, who can be somewhat high-strung at times. "What?!?" said my friend incredulously. I responded, "You keep out of this. He doesn't have to shoot you now." [:D]

About 12 years ago, when I had kids ranging from 3 to 8, we were taking a family vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC. This involved a long stretch of "bland" interstate highway, so my wife inserted an "educational" cassette tape about the classsic composer Handel. It was kinda boring, so after awhile we turned to conversation. While we talked, a part of my mind was still listening to the tape, when I heard the unmistakable and impossible lyrics: "He spanked the worm!"
That's odd, I thought, and I listened more attentively. Sure enough, the line was repeated: "He spanked the worm!" I chuckled as the words conjured a mildly "naughty" connotation. When the line repeated again, I began laughing out loud.
When I started laughing, that got my family's attention, so I said: "Hey, listen to this! This song says, 'He spanked the worm!'" The line was repeated, which started my family laughing. As the line kept repeating, our laughter grew at the mental image of somebody spanking a worm. Soon, I was laughing so hard I couldn't steer the car well. We just weaved our way along Interstate 20 at 80 miles an hour laughing our heads off.
When we finally reached our destination, we played this "crazy" song for family members. When "He spanked the worm" sounded the first time, my more educated and cultured father-in-law immediately interpreted it accurately as: "He spake the word!" So I had been wrong all along. But "He spanked the worm!" is still legendary in our family.

...poker game with the boys...copious amounts of alcohol and funky cigarettes...my buddy and i laughed until crying after saying over and over to each other in slow motion, bass voices "Dude, you gotta dart in your neck! That is so cool!"...then back to the other "I like you man! You're funny!"*
*(a Will Ferrell scene in "Old School")

Somebody help me with Whipple's story (I think you need to have served in the military to understand it - I have no idea what the following are: Mojo, M1Division, LBFM, and a Peso Show). I think I wanna know!
Spitfire: [:D]
M-Div is Machinery Division, main propulsion. M1 I guess would be on a very large warship; don't know what the '1' means. Mojo is a local drink I think.
The other two you really don't want to know. I know you well enough to know that.[:)]
I somehow think it must be a distant cousin of the 'HeyJoe' shows they had in some of the 'seedier' places just off the quay in Naples, Italy! And Moose is right... you really don't want to know what happens in those places.

Probably watching Woody Allen's "What's Up Tiger Lily?". Absolutely hilarious movie. It's a 1970s Japanese James Bond type film with English voice-overs that correspond to an alternate plot. Several times, I had to pause the CD and lean over the side of the couch to try to make the pain in my abdominal muscles go away. (I was laughing so hard, it actually hurt.)
