It will be turn based and use our PBEM++ system. It will not be any form of RTS!

Did you guys really expect anything else? [8D]

As long as it is not another Rites of War aka Panzergeneral clone. While i did enjoy that at the time of the release i have seen it once already.

So i'm hoping for either a Chaos Gate gameplay style or a grandstrategy.

Anyway, i hope it becomes something great. :)

Brilliant news! Looking forward to an in depth Warhammer 40k game.

Sorry, but I can't applaud a deal with a bunch of trademark trolls. [:@]

Why not dump the deal, steal all their ideas (if you can find any original ones), then try and claim copyright on them under a common phrase like, erm.. how about SPACE MARINES? Oops no, that's been taken.

Just a thought.

"Trademark troll" is unfair; if GW did nothing but sue people, then it might apply, but they do put out overpriced bits of plastic in shiny boxes too...

Fair point. Part-time trademark trolls, then.

For those who missed it, here's the epic saga of Spots the Space Marine.

So uhm, "they" own the phrase "Space Marine"... [8|] Tsssk. Not very fair is it? A Space Marine is just what is says it is, a marine in space, so it definitely belongs to the public domain.

Please do the fantasy stuff of warhammer first, not those stupid space marines. Everytime I hear space marines I think of Alien's II and Stormship Troopers Avalon Hill game (which sucked btw) Omens of War or that Rat game will be just fine. [:'(]
