well, SEP should have teoreticaly infinite duration as they také power from sun (i asume) while nuclear engines should have endurance of few years before need to replace fuel (but it will be more than enough to make run to mars and back without replacing fuel).ORIGINAL: RLA

Well, on that Mars Cycler video, I see two plates. Is that something inspirited by the Orion nuclear spacecraft?
Hehe, you're right, it looks like the Orion spacecraft from the 1950s! However, the plates have nothing to do with nuclear propulsion: they are called SEP modules, which is an acronym for "Solar Electric Propulsion".
