OK, it seems like 2 planes out, 2 to go... Those 88's do their job well. Still not even on point base. Those Il-2's already had their return on investment.
The stug you failed to take out got companion and took down 2 BA's. However, that cost me 2 StuG's... Better keep 'em ranged I think. It's quiet on the Eastern front....
PS MG fire won't do much to armour, and StuG's have quite a bit of that.

Death to the Faschist Invaders screams out a BA-10 crew as a StuG explodes into bits of metall and meat. They never heard the shot from a second StuG that took them out.
More BA-10 mob yet another StuG and Disable its Main gun.
Towards the middle KV-1s charge forward and Engage 3 StuG's while BA-10 pumell StUIG with their 45mm to little effect.
Nazi Artillery pund the earth to no effct.
The Soviets Advance.

P.S.
I read the WWII Soviet handbook for anti tank warfare, they seem to think differently:D

Could you post the new one, I notice at least 2 StuG's that where previously thought destroyed.

Talk about field repairs. Otherwise it's the previous one.
PS I read a handbook about US rifle (squad-platoon-company-battalion level) and the only use for small-arm fire against a tank was damaging the periscope. Okay, it was written postwar.

Goodnight

Some activity spells the end of yet another StuG. Trying to create a little distance from the assaulting KV-1's, it is hit in the rear quarters, and despite the small callibre the round penetrates the armour. A squad of infiltrated specforces runs into some rearguard paratroopers and retreats calling in artillery.
The air force seems to have been scared away by the valiant efforts of the 88 FlaK.
Some reports are received of T-34's masquarading as BA-11's, even adopting the 45 mm main armament and low armour. (glitch in OOB's?) A ZiS-30 is spotted, but since their accuracy is widely laughed at, ignored.
So far the germans seem to be at a disadvantage, since they have so far failed to take any objectives.

*Colonel Demon's Zemlyanka. Russian Drinking Songs intermixed with Heavy Artillery heard in the background*
-Sir the reports from the Front are in. Towards the South Cossacks and Ba-10 valliantly assualt a StuG to little effect other than the destruction of the BA-10. Further Up BA-10s and a StuG Duel, The StuG is Destroyed but so is a BA-10 further BA-10 with "t-34" written on them by our glorious disinformation department Chase a crippled StuG.
Towards the Middle of the Map Assualting KV-8s Disguised as KV-1s by the Same Misinformation Department Take out a StuG and StuIG frying the crew over a small flame. the ZIS-30s Rumored to be innacurate take out the Last Known Fascist STUIG.
Towards the Bak rearguards are deployed to Counter Infiltration activities. Out Air support seems to have returned to base, chased of by BF-109s reported in the Area.
Our Forces are Advancing in All Strategic Directions and Are ready to wrest the final VH from the Grasp of the Fascist Invaders. Long live the Motherland!

SheiBe, I thought that the armour on those StuIG's was better than that on the sIG33 auf PzI. OK everyone took a lot of fire to destroy. I did do little, some fire on weak targets, and tactical redeployments to the rear.
Nasty renaming the stuff, I forgot that was possible... Took me off guard indeed.

Good thing to remember for future exploitments.
Ah well I'll get your KV's yet. It's still far from over.... altrough I xome across the fault of the StuG.. low on ammo...

Ammo is something all 45mm armed Russian AFVs Have in Great Supply:) Now that I took Out most of Your Armour I think it will be time to smoke and Surpress those 88s and take them out, But Ill have to wait for the Infantry to catch up to the AFVs, not gonna send those thin skinned AC's into the waiting arms of your SS:D I am at work Now but once I get back, expect several turns worth of Artillery Pounding you into so much Mensch-Meat:)
And Yeah the renaming thing is quite Nasty:D
Gonna be hard for you to recover those 8 per turn hexes.... But I wonder if the Nazis will call for reinforcements

I can wait, personally I didn't think I would have time for more than 1 turn a day. A job or even better, a internship place would be nice.
Reinforcements might be a wise thing indeed... (AT, AT, AT!) Ah well, 'll see what's availlable.

Okay, this was a good one for me, there seems to be some hope in the end of this dark turns.
A SS platoon attempted to assault one of the masquarading KV's, finaly a squad hits it with a mine and there she blows.. this cost the lives of some of our finest arians. The infantry is finally coming up to engage the enemy. The infiltrators are steadilly destroying opposition in the enemy's rear areas. A fiery one-way exchange results in a BA dying from a lethal perfoartion of ATR rounds. Altrough the position has improved a LOT by decimating the enemy armour, a call for reinforcements is made to fill the losses as well as return in a more offensive role.
It's going fine this turn. Go ahead boy.

Make My Day.

The StuG In the Far Bottom of The Map is Finally Destroyed. A BA-10 hunting a crippled StuG is destroyed as the StuG fixes it's Gun. Spec Ops continue to slaughter the rear area garrison but not for long
Soviet Artillery Bombards the Germans to deadly Effect and 88s are blinded by smoke.

Hehe, that's yet another StuG.
Lot cheaper than true armour, you know.
Nothing spectacular happening this turn.. Only a machinegewehre 42 doesn't score a lot of kills as hoped for. And I noticed the starting victory hexes are not per turn, so the specforces are kinda wasted right there. But I hear some rumbling in the background.. could it be those Tigers I requested?

That 88 only had 3-4 gunners left. I considered it lost after the initial bombardment on 1st turn.
I'm more concerned with teh time constraint, 2 turns more to go and only the initial victory hexes => loss. But I now know some good things for future battles, so after this I will never be this easy.
My best bet for points is eliminating the KV's for points.
Anyway...
A SS squad tries to distract a KV, succeeding but being hit with flamer fire for that, ouch. Onother squad assaults it to no effect. Reinforcements, where areth thou? But I will NEVER surrender to the reds! :p
