CW has taken a naval option. This game has the Cruisers in Flames option ON so there are a lot of additional smaller light cruisers on the map. Using the zoom level 1 there are CW ships visibly present in a lot of sea areas after their naval moves have been completed.
In other naval moves the French transports an Inf unit from Beirut to Marseille and the Americans sail HQ Nimitz and a NAV air on transports to Hawaii.

The first Allied impulse consists mostly of positioning ships and a few land moves, no attacks. In the air rebase phase the 2 Polish planes will fly to Lithuania and be interned. The pilots will then appear as available CW pilots at the reinforcement phase for turn 2.

The second Axis impulse (game impulse 3) arrives with a weather roll of 3 - Fine weather everywhere.
Germany DoW's Denmark and rolls a 4, The USA does not care.
Denmark aligns with the CW and set up 2 ships and 1 convoy in Fredrikshavn and 5 convoys in Thorshavn.
Germany flies a NAV aircraft into the North Sea box 3.

Italy is worried about a sneak attack from the CW but seeing the CW fleet carrier planes as mediocre decides to keep the peace and await a possible strike on La Spezia. Italy has sent out some air power into the W Med.

Germany moves into position to attack Lodz in force. The Germans also have an engineer unit in the attack to further increase the attacking strength.
There are two German divisions ready to invade Denmark, one will go to Copenhagen and one to Fredrikshavn.
During the setup for Germany a 5-4 infantry unit was broken down into the two Divisions. That 5-4 corps is now in the breakdown pool and cannot be built again. It will only be available in the force pool after the two Divisions have been lost or possibly recombined into the 5-4 unit.
When the German unit entered Fredrikshavn the 2 Danish ships escaped to England, the convoy was captured.

Germany attacks Lodz and Japan attacks a disorganized OOS unit E Nanyang and a unit NW Canton. The Canton attack uses Engineer support and HQ support to improve the attack odds.

The attacks all worked out fine for the Axis.
At the reorganization phase Germany use their ATR to reorganize an Inf unit and the Rundstedt HQ to reorganize reserve units on the West Front.
It is again the Allies turn for impulse number 4, their 2nd one.

The Allies impulse this time consisted of Russia demanding Bessarabia and of Germany allowing the claim. Russian units entered the area. CW sent a fleet into the North Sea awaiting German moves.

Axis impulse 5 begins with the weather beginning to deteriorate with rain in the Arctic and accelerating the turn end status.
Germany allows the Hungarian and Bulgarian claims on Rumania.
Germany DoW's the Netherlands and it is aligned with the CW and set up. 6 convoys are started in Dutch Guyana and 2 and SUB and a TRS in BAtavia.
Germany takes a combined action, Japan a land, Ital still has to take a combined.

The CW decided to intercept the German ships. The rolls were a 2 for the CW and a 4 for Germany. The Germans are able to force an air combat.
The CW AA fire was enough to drive away the German bombers with no losses. A second round followed with the same results. The third round had no one find the other side.

The German attacks are setup. Amsterdam is attacked and Rotterdam is invaded by a Div and also hit from land. Warzaw is hit and will get attacking HQ support. Amsterdam will also be hit with a Me110 flying as a bomber and in addition there will be shore bombardment of both Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

The attacks worked. Germans suffered 4 disorganized units at Warzaw but Poland has fallen.
Japan entered a city in China and the US cared, a chit was added to the entry pool. In an attack there a Chinese Communist unit was destroyed and a Japanese MIL was also lost.

Allied impulse 7 with not very much the Allies can do. The BEF was formed, sailed to the N Sea, was not seen by the German ships and landed the BEF in France.
The turn did not end and the weather turned back to fine everywhere again for the Axis next impulse.

Oooo, that's not good for the Allies.

Thanks for the AAR Lomyrin. I have some questions :
What was the chance of CW to interdic the north sea zone to the german fleet ? If the german fleet had to retreat and not help with shore bombardment, could we have seen the Netherlands resist one impulse ? Did CW put enough ships to interdict the north sea ? When a german player commit part of his fleet to shore the netherland coast, is that a huge risk for them ? (another way to ask the same question ! [;)])
What is the reaction of Belgium ? Could we see Belgium join the Allies or do they keep neutral no matter how agressive is the german ?
Could the french player attempt a land attack toward germany (a surprise one, maybe with a very low ratio of possible success)

Slightly OT, but..
I just had a 14 impulse (28 if you're counting both sides) first turn in the Barbarossa scenario. Good weather for most of it, so you can imagine the mess my poor Russians are in [:(]

The CW from the 3 box had a 30% chance to interdict, and they did succeed twice but the Germans were not surprised and were able to chose an air action in both cases. That left the German fleet untouched.
If the German fleet had retreated the invasion of Rotterdam could not have ocurred and the Cw would have been able to send their units in.
The Belgians can only await their fate. French really do not have enough power to damage the Germans atthis time.

With improved weather still some time in this turn Germany DoW's Belgium and is willing to suffer the adverse US reaction. The US did react. With Rotterdam in German control there is not much the Belgians can do to stop their advance. A substantial force in Antwerp might buy enough time for the Allies to intervene and perhaps stop the German advance.

A bomber and a figthter/bomber groundstruck Antwerp and between them disorganized 1 of the 2 Belgian units there.
Declaring the attack and adding HQ support and ground support from the remaining 2 bombers the attack is at a pretty good +11 with a fraction.
Some German units in Poland have begun moving west and others are heading southwards.
