Does this bug also appears if you did restore an earlier saved game and go through this again? Or is it a one time thing (I've stumbled upon these type of bugs sometimes but was able to proceed normally if I just got back to a previous saved game and continue from there). This might be the work around...
I can also provide a save game. It is a repeater. See attached. It will stop after the first attack in the ground strike phase.

fumblesredeye, I looked at your game file. The problem is action limits. You are taking a Land action and already had used 3 air units for your port strike. They are sitting in Konigsberg disorganized. You only get four air missions in a Land action. See RAC Section 10.1 - Action Types.
The action choice is a key ingredient in WiF and requires careful planning. Another thing you could have done is used your Offensive Chit and taken what in WiF-slang is called a "Super-Combined" for your action. See RAC Section 16.
BTW normally you would not do ground strikes one at a time. You'd fly all the planes - up to your action limit - and then resolve interceptions etc. and then finally conduct the bombings.
Also, I used your file, successfully ground struck the 6-4 Russki that was out of supply with the 5-factor Stuka. I clicked "OK" on the Ground Strike results form and then the return to base sub-step came up and I returned the Stuka, then the green phase button came on. Screen shot is below. I next clicked the end phase and the game progressed to Rail Movement.
Note the small window in the upper left. That shows all the ground striking planes that needed to return to base. They can be returned by selecting them in that window or they can be selected from over top the enemy that they ground struck. Perhaps that window is opening somewhere hidden from you in your screen layout and that's why you think the game is frozen. As I said, even if you don't see the window, you should be able to find your ground strikers on the map and return them.
If the game appears frozen always check the white box two lines down from the flag showing who's active - plus the title bar on the main form - they can tell you what the game thinks it needs to do next.

Here is my Barbarosa problem! It's a solitaire game. Can't advance to next phase!
Please take a look at the reply to fumblesredeye in the post above. Your game, however, says it's in the air re-org phase. Did you do any? Could there be an ATR somewhere that needs to return to base after its mission?
If none of the foregoing seems to fit your issue, please zip a copy of the game file from just before the problem (or even at the problem if you saved there) and upload it to this thread.
Thanks.

Same thing just happened to me.
Global war, solitaire.
Germany declares all of her attacks in May/June 1940 and then ground support.
The game tells me how much is added to my attacks and then it stays at "Ground Support: Attack" for the French player.
No units are selectable and the game won't save.
Shannon, how would I get this save game to you?

Found the problem. I had a German paratroop behind French lines. Just before the phase that I couldn't get past it asked for defender ground support/bombard so I chose a French artillery on the Maginot to bombard the paratroop behind him. That stalled the game at "Ground Support: Attack"
I decided not to try that again on reload and lo and behold it worked?
Why might choosing the French to bombard cause this problem?

If you can zip the GAM file and attach/upload the zipped file to a post in this thread, that would help us fault isolate and fix the problem.

While this very well could have confused the game, the French artillery can only defensive ground support French units in French hexes. That artillery should only be able to bombard the German paratroop in the French Ground Strike phase or as offensive ground support for a French attack. Normally, if an artillery is adjacent and part of a friendly attack, then you wouldn't bombard with it because then it becomes disorganized. Possible exceptions to "normally" are attacking across rivers or fort hexsides, because then the artillery wouldn't be halved and you might need the extra factors.
