Hello Wolfe, I thought you might like to know that I have done the new art graphics for the Small Garrison Nato style. It is still to be seen and passed by the powers that be, but I can tell you I have used the Tripple bar design for a Regiment sized unit. Also the Text has also been fixed for these new units.[;)]

the font is different...its like one type is normal and the other is bigger, that way its not fitting as it should be..
for example when is the number 2 i see only 85% of the size, i dont see the other 15% from the bottom.
Could you please provide a screenshot of the issue?

Played quite a lot last night.
Forced Germany to Surrender when they were down to Konigsberg and Stettin (and 3 units total).
The 'problem' is AH didn't surrender until all their cities and units were taken.
They both seemed to fight on a little too far into the game.
This was 1916. I have a save game if anyone wants to take a look. (its actually just before AH surrenders)

Sorry...ive try to make a print screen and then paste into paint, but the picture is black. so sorry
Also during the load screns a dont see the wheal spining, its just a white box with no wheel inside it.
During 1.30 i never had this issues.

Keyboard Printscreen option is not working, I'm trying to get the software wiz kid to look into this problem.[:(]

The 1.4 doesn't work. Since I installed the patch I can't start a game (singlplayer or multiplayer).
When I select a side and click on the "start game" the loading screen shows up but without the rolling circle in the middle square.
And it just stays like that.

I assume you have to then kill it with Task Manager? Could you please provide a log file after this happens? Does it happen always? For every scenario?

Since I don't know how to attach files, I will just copy the content of the error.log file, here it is;
KERNEL MEMORY CHECKING IS **OFF**
I have win7 32bit, 3GB RAM memory, amd turion x2 (2.1Ghz). The 1.3 game worked without problems.

ctgw.log file is located in My Documents/Username/My Games/Commandder The great War.
What about other questions?

Downloaded 1.4 today to get past an AI freeze in 1.3. Seems to be working, but I have noticed some things. I'l prewarn that all these are noted during the running of a game that I started in 1.3, so that may be the issue. Playing as Entente.
1. German sub attacks cruiser in its turn. Sub visible in next turn and gets attacked by cruiser. BB moves up next to it but of course can't attack. On next turn, sub is invisble, but BB from previous turn can still attack it in the "empty" sea hex, as indicated by doing a right-click hover over the hex and getting the prognosis.
2. The Arab units, except for the cavalry, have no sound effects when they move.
3. The upkeep costs for all Entente nations is zero/unit. (Build, baby, build)
4. When I tried to quit the game, things freeze up and eventually I get the "Great War is not responding" message and then I can close it.

I don't know if this is an historical inaccuracy or not, but AH aircraft disply the Iron Cross on their wings. Once agian my caveat ... this is a game started in 1.3 that is being finished in 1.4. The "0 upkeep cost" issues seems to be in games started in 1.4 also. I make take a playing break until this is fixed ... sorta decreases the realism of the game.

I think everything that we have raised in this public beta phase will be fixed in the new patch. Can't be too long now before it is available.

In case anybody is interested, it should be pointed out, that once you go from 1.30 to 1.40 beta all your MP games are wiped out, GONE! (at least, in my case that's what happened, or it might be because I had to get a new computer, not sure). There is no trace of "any kind" of MP activity, present or past. I feel like an ass, for I had about 15 MP matches going on.

There is a newer 1.40 build available now if you could please try that and let us know of any bugs you might find.

Don't worry, that is not true at all
All your games are still here, you just don't see them because beta-testers play on test server. Once 1.4 is officially released, game will be using production servers and you will see your games again.
Since it is not possible to have 2 installations of the game (1.3 and 1.4 beta at the same time), if you want to continue your current MP games I suggest you re-install your game and update to 1.3 only.

Don't worry, that is not true at all

Been on 1.40 beta since it first released, those matches on 1.30 are pretty much history, moving forward with the new 1.40, as soon as the jiggyness of the new patch is resolved.
