the colors are really difficult, the text doesn't contrast with the background very well at all!
May I ask that you check your monitors settings. Over here at the graphics team we work with calibrated monitors (following international ICC standards) and I can assure you that the text and the background have a good contrast and don´t merge or so. It was maybe difficult with the darker grey used before, but that has been changed.

Oh, I think I've seen it before...it's just the rendering here that looks strange...you lose the effect of him falling from a gunshot wound due to the fact you cannot see the lower torso...the image as rendered just looks like a soldier standing there levitating a rifle.....just my meager opinion :)

The Black on Gray is readible, but the Black on OD is not. I'm using Netscape btw. My eyes are straining...

I like the new 'look' It's clean. The gamma on my monitor is dark - I know that I need to fix it, but the contrast is fine by me - and my eyesight is far from perfect!

Here I thought it was my monitor. I suppose we will all get used to it in time.
