South Africa - the War in Angola. (1975 - 1989, ..specifically the Operations of the late 80s)
Biggest Tank Battles since World War II.
No hypothetical mumbo jumbo .. real battles, real adversaries .. West vs East.

Source materials?
The largest tank battle in history was on the Golan Heights in 1973. That's after WWII and not anywhere near Angola.
However, I don't have any literature about this conflict and that's a situation that needs to remedied. So, if you can recommend some books we'll take a look at this conflict.

I would like to see other combatants added to the system before it leaves this time period. Other NATO forces, Warsaw Pact, non-NATO countries that get invaded, the USMC and Soviet Marines (amphibious operations do not necessarily need to be a part of these, they could be battles after landings have occurred.)
