I can do a turn per day. No PBEM experience and never played GD1938. Have dropbox. Could someone help me through the dropbox process. Am willing to take any side but don't want to screw up the play balance as not very experienced. Am I in?

The normal format runs.
Pick sides.
5 Player is.
Player 1 Germany/Italy
Player 2 Japan
Player 3 Soviet Union
Player 4 France/UK
Player 5 USA/China
If you have dropbox then you receive a invite to join the folder, the turns are rotated with the file being altered to the next nation and the current turn IE: the German/Italian player will start the game,
and create the file when he has completed all two axis turns Germany and Italy, which will look like this "GD1938Game18-Japan-turn1,atg" which will be placed in the GD1938 Game 18 dropbox folder.
Just need to pick sides. players so far Twotribes Falco baloo7777 cpdeyoung ironduke.
I will just need baloo7777 e-mail to invite to dropbox, send it to my inbox, then we are good to go.
Most players will help with strategic advice and tactical tips, my advice is don't believe a word they say[;)]

Who ever starts the process will need your email address for drop box and then you will get an email telling you you were invited just accept then when it is your turn download the turn do it and then save it to drop box and we are off and running.
I will let someone else address inexperience.

Great just need Falco and Twotribes to confirm they are ok or not then we are good to go, if Falco can start the ball rolling with first turn.
FOW passwords no shared recon all the rest off that's my preference up to other players to state theirs.

I am good to go, prefer shared recon as with out we see NOTHING. Which is patently wrong.

I hate shared recon, as it reveals far too much.
Yes, I think there is a happy medium between too much and too little. I would like a newspaper like report that tells of all city captures, world shaking battles, new technologies being used in actual combat, and so on.
I would be happy if each country could choose who to reveal its map to, but if I say no, then my map is private.
Far too much chance of an "ally" sharing your data with another of their allies, who may be no friend of yours!
