Remake for Steel Panthers would be great, although the current version is still pretty good!

Lots of great games are listed in this thread, some of which I hadn't thought about for years. Action Stations!? A very in-depth naval game.

Clash of Steel was updated to Strategic Command: European Theater by Battlefront in 2002, but that's been thirteen years. I enjoyed playing both versions.

I would like to see all the games listed thus far updated with particular emphasis on Steel Panthers, Age of Rifles, Squad Leader and Third Reich.

But we're still missing a lot of other games by SSI, SSG, MicroProse, and many other developers / publishers that are deserving to be updated.

Steel Panthers and Civil War Generals 2... And many of the above mentioned!

1. Action Stations!, though Navies at War is pretty much the same thing, it needs a modern GUI.

2. The Operational Art of War 1-2-3: Fix it up and I won't NEED any other wargames.

1. Third Reich/Advanced Third Reich
2. The Russian Campaign/Russia Besieged

Keep It Simple Stupid; provide some nice graphics and challenging computer opponent, but keep it playable and FUN.

Blimey Steel Panthers brought me here all those years ago. [X(] Seriously loved that game, that nailbiting sound when a shell ricocheted off my tank /phew close call. Ah the memories.

Would love to see this concept modernized and brought up to current graphic standards. I've never played another naval combat game that provided the same "feel" of being there on the ship. Talk about immersion! They had problems integrating airpower into the later games in the series, but no reason why that couldn't be done better and integrated into the surface action.

Far easier to learn and control, as well.

I am guessing this thread is being followed closely by Matrix.

Steel Panthers with modern resolution and a slightly optimized UI - I would pay 40-50 $ for it on day one.

Same goes for a modern version of Great Naval Battles.
