Its 6 to 4! We are winning. Only a desperate vote-fixer would count the T34 guys as M4 votes! Is that you? If you can't win on your own merits (like most M4's)....

Jess: Thanks. I had a hell of a time finding an a$$ shot of a Tiger.

G: Thought you would appreciate the '5 raspberry' aspect of the bumper sticker.

I loved the photo! And Russian armor is second on my list! Then, Japanese, then a Knights platemail, then Gladiator armor, then Oscar the Grouch's trash can, then M4 Jumbos, then M4's.:D

Lets see a scenario where a single M4 takes on a whole German batallion, shooting up halftracks and taking out Pz IIs, Pz IV's and Panthers(the best equivalent to M3's, Firefly's, M4's and Cromwells):p

Great link! I love to see old WW2 AFV's (or aircraft) restored to working condition. It's a link to the past that isn't static and sterile, and I can tell that old T34/85 has lots of personality :D

Quite right. "Sotka" originally meant Goldeneye (in form "sotkas") (Buchephala clangula), however, by end of 19th century it had turned to mean Scaup (Aythya marila), Tufted Duck (Aythya fuligula) or Common Pochard (Aythya ferruginea). T-34's nick "Sotka" originates from a steamboat Sotka. One jaeger, when seeing the T-34 for the first time at June 1941, said that the tank "rolls like Sotka boat".

I think this was an important thing to say. I believe this has really changed you into better human beings. I do. :p

Poll

Hi, To tell the truth I had a hard time with this poll. My normal option would be "6 bottles of vodka and I don't need a tank"
But alas it was not one of the choices. I like Russkie infantry drunken, enraged, unguided, mass attack with Russian heavy arty falling amongest my troops as I advance.

(embarrassing side note: I have been unable to download SPWAW 7.1 for several months. And I left my CD's somewhere along the road)

Greetings Comrades, Of course what I meant to say was, there is nothing as glourious as an infantry attack supported by M-4's provided by our wonderfull allies the Americans. (driven by heroic comrades of Red Army of course)
