Just to let you know I had the same problem as well, I didn't save the game either.
Just tried again & had no problem occupying the farm.[X(]

Hi Starbuck - i got the email last night. Two things first:
1. What you are seeing there are the flags of french units indicating the church is occupied - hence they are listed in the fort unit list.
2. There is no objective to capture in that screen shot - I cannot remember if there was one on that scenario but you may have captured it and it has now timed out. The green marker with the gold bugle you are seeing is the ordered destination marker. Check Page 61 of the manual.

Hi
yup happy with all that, what I wanted to show was that I had the units inside and captured the objective and cleared surrounding area but:
1. Yes the church was the objective
2. No grog mod toolbar - units inside ok, good
3. The French met objective requirements but are not awarded the points
4. No national flag signifying captured - and held
as a test I pushed on as you suggested that the Prussian units might have still contested the church but are now completely cleared.
