We need some info to track this glitch down.

1. When you start the game, do you see a new Reforged Launcher (brown, says Germany Reforged)?

Yes

2. Do you see a thank you dialog once the game starts (after the animations and in the splash screen)?

No

3. What Version of the game are you on?

2.0.10

4. Are you a new user or upgrading and adding Reforged?

upgrading and adding

5. Can you play Red Storm scenarios?'

Yes

6. Is your Steam install in the default directory?

Yes

7. What OS are you on?

Win 10 64bit

8. Are you an Admin on the system?

Yes

9. What language do you use?

English

10. Do you also own a Matrix registered copy of the game? If it updated to 2.0.10?

I have it but it's not installed.

If you guys can get us these answers it will help us narrow down the glitch.

Yes, though nothing in game after clicking launch refers to reforged

No. Tried setting .exe to run as admin and got an error saying the game could not find steam and closed.
9. What language do you use?

I have it but not installed anymore after redeeming Steam key

Okay, we have figured out the problem with the authentication and we are working on a fix for the Steam version exe and hope to have the tested and turned around as soon as we can.

purchased, installed update, installed reforged, same problem as everyone else. Looking forward to the fix. If you need any info holla.

I guess it's the same authentication issue that we had with Command: Northern Inferno. Thanks for finding a fix, Capn.

Budd, are you on the steam version as well?

yes sir, steam version. just freezes at the cdkey screen, then the steam client bootstrapper stops working and i cant shutdown steam, says to shutdown FPRS first. When i look in the task manager only process running game related is the automenu, which im guessing is for FPC, which i cant shutdown using end process.Have to reboot system.

Cool. I knew it'd be fixed, once it was clear I wasn't the only one with the problem micons/m11.gif. Stuff happens.

Budd, you have a different problem from the rest. It sounds like you can't even start the game to get told you can't play the new scenarios. Might be worth doing a file integrity check as step one. Next would be to see if your steam version is fully up to date. Then go for delete local game files and download again and reinstall.

verified game cache, 8 files needed to be re-aquired. Tried to start game, froze at same cdkey screen. Steam bootstrapper stopped running, screen with choice wait for program to respond or shutdown program. I shutdown program, bring steam window back up, see under FPC game still running, try to shutdown steam, prompts to shutdown FPC first, can't shut steam down.Check task manager, see 3 instances of automenu running, can only shut down one. Going to reboot and delete local content and download again.

Deleted local content, downloaded again, still same issue. While it was frozen at the cdkey screen i did go into task manager and saw that again there was 3 instances of autorun exe. running. I could shutdown steam through task manager, but when i restarted steam it showed FPC as still running. I could only end task on 1 instance of the autorun exe. the other 2 i can only make go away by rebooting my computer.

deleted local content and downloaded again this time didn't install reforged. Game ran fine version 2.0.10, installed reforge and back to the same problem. Again 3 instances of the autorun exe. process running in task manager. Done for today i'll check back tomorrow.

Budd, I had the same problem and solved by downloading Steam again (maybe is a new release) and installing OVER your installed version.

Are we getting closer to a hotfix here?

We've just posted a hotfix update on Steam that should resolve this issue. Please restart Steam, let it download and install and let us know if it resolves the issue for you.

Not for me...game dont start...I see the main menu but when i click start game, nothing happen

Did you see the update download and install through Steam? Do you mean when you click "Play Game" from the initial game menu? Is that game menu labeled with the Germany Reforged logo?

Swiso has a different issue from mine : mine was germany reforged scenarios not starting, red storm was working fine

same problem chicco....me too had germany reforged not starting.

Erik...I restarted Steam, saw the download (5.8 MB size), then started the game, saw the germany reforged logo, and when I need to choose between read manual or play game, I click play game but nothing happen.
I cleaned the local files of the game, redownloaded, installed again, ttried second time, same problem [&:]

EDIT : game not starting but I see on the left side of Steam interface window that the game is running.... but nothing happen

EDIT 2: If I go to task manager on Windows, I see 3 process named "FPRS.exe *32" (120 kb) running....not possible to close those processes...dont know if game related, but restarting windows, going on task manager again, those processes are not there...they appear only after starting the game I think.
