And now, before again i can move or do much else i still need to use my cards on all 3 groups
then and only then can i move, could do it at end of turn, but best not to, as if like me you may forget[:D][;)]
oh and focus cards can only be used of Pz units if you have a good relationship, as mine are neutral and poor, i don't now get the option of using them, so throw them away on infantry or don't bother, it's a tough choice[:@]

i make my moves and end turn 1, and now you see where i end up on the start of turn 2, on all 3 army groups, starting with AGN
while my main focus, i make the least progress[:@]

AGC
with some boarders highlighted in black and 4 cities in yellow, it looks a bleak outlook for AGC with a vast mass of area to cover[X(]

AGS
my weakest section for me, with just as much land in it as AGC, but not the right amount of forces to do a half decent job[X(] with some very weak allies in the mix, who need handling very carefully indeed[;)]

And not to forget the Fin's, even though they are part of AGN, i'll show them as well
my brave Fin's, who atm can't cross the red line shown on the map as red B's, but i have made a redline near it, to show it more, and the white S's mean if the Russian get in the Yellow bit, the Fin's will no longer be in the war[:(]

Thanks for the AAR.
But I do not understand this. So, you have assigned a rear army to anti-partisan duty instead of mopping up duty; this angered von Bock; so far this is more or less understandable (meaning perhaps that some front line troops will have to do some mopping up; although with less partisan activity supply will flow better for the troops, which is a plus...)
What I do not get is why, then, the player cannot help von Bock's job with the "command focus" card...Why, unless he is throwing a tantrum, would he refuse it, that would serve as a compensation for AGC...?
What am I missing here ? What is the correlation with real historical operations ?
Regards

it simulates the in fighting of the command structure of the German high command, where Hitler and others liked his minions to squabble and see which one won, normally the one work creeped the most and not always the one who fought the hardest, as a focus card is a commanders inspiration on the battle field etc and can really make the difference in some situations, it's better to have them on your side than keep fighting with them for support, so it's a balancing act, and makes the fighting half won, but also shows you sometimes that you're not just fighting the other side, the weather, but your own command structure as well, while it's not for everyone, it does add to the immersion as a RPG element at times, but can also make life very hard if and when you get it wrong as shown, as know i need to balance what i want, with the views of those around me, if i want to have a successful campaign.
with his support, he lends me his skill, without it, he is like a baby and just runs the commands i give him, but nothing more, like a spoilt brat, and not what you want at the start of battle and the campaign.
