I downloaded your 42 Scen, and have found a couple issues.

USS Hornet is located on the East Coast, should be either NW of Pearl (1-2 days out) at Sea with Enterprise returning from the Doolittle Raid or located at Pearl.

Saratoga should be at San Diego under going repairs from a torpeado hit in January. She didn't leave San Diego until June 1st

I believe all the US BB's at Pearl should be located at San Diego or San Fran, as they were being held back in reserve or under going upgrades. They put to sea off the west coast several hundred miles during the Battle of Midway, as a "plan B" in case things at midway went bad and the Japs were indeed going for the West Coast. Before Midway they didn't sortie much AFAIK.

Andy--what scenario and/or modified scenario is the Mod based on? I've wondered about making an April 1st or May 1st start date for RA or BTS...

A minor problem. First turn and I note this strange objective.

Aircraft
#424 F4F-3P should be Type 05 Recon, build rate 10.
#426 F4F-7 should be carrier capable, start month 9, and build rate 25.

Air Group
#1725 VS-8 should be (#487) SBD-3 Dauntless
#1726 VB-8 should be (#487) SBD-3 Dauntless
#1778 VT-71 should be (#495) TBF Avenger

Don't know if this is specific to this scenario but I've never seen the RAF Battle it the game before. There is no image for it.

You will find the above Fairey Battle graphics files in the attached .zip file.

This link contains instructions on how to install them: Aircraft Art Request (specifically post #5)

Please note the zip file contains a choice of three airplane tops so pick the one you feel is most appropriate. You will also have to rename the files to the correct slot number (slot 102 for this scenario).

The files should be named as follows ;
A_PlaneSide0102.bmp
Aptop0102.bmp
Aptop_alpha0102.bmp

Save these files in the "\Art\AlliedPlanes" folder in your game directory. (Please create this folder if it doesn't exist).

I probably should get Andy to include these files in the scenario pack. (hint, hint...)

Thanks for that but not finding "\Art\AlliedPlanes" folder threw me googly (curve ball for our US friends). All sussed now.

Sorry computer still in melt down (installing new Motherboard) will be back up and running shortly - all comments wil be incorporated when I have working system

Will try to do something with art if I can currently this is the only new plane

Oh sorry about that. [:(] You have to create that folder "\Art\AlliedPlanes".

Here are some suggestions, The following ships may need to have the initial positions changed. I looked on the Net so I do not know that the following is 100% accurate.

BB West Virginia should still be at Pearl Harbor. She sailed for Bremerton on 7 May 1943.

BB Nevada should be at Puget Sound Navy Yard (Seattle hex). “refloated on 12 Feb 1942 after only two months. She received temporary repairs at Pearl Harbor and sailed to Puget Sound Navy Yard for further repairs in Apr 1942.

BB California should still be at Pearl Harbor. “On 25 March 1942, California was refloated and dry-docked at Pearl Harbor for repairs. On 7 June, she departed under her own power for Puget Sound Navy Yard”

DD Shaw should be at San Francisco with damage. “On 9 February, Shaw steamed towards San Francisco where repairs were completed, including the installation of a new bow, at the end of June.”

DD Cassin should be at SF for Apr 44 “Recommissioned 5 February 1944. Cassin reported at Pearl Harbor 22 April 44”
DD Downes should be at SF for Mar 44 “Recommissioned on 15 November 1943, Downes sailed from San Francisco California 8 March 1944”
“Both Cassin ans Downes ship's hulls were damaged beyond repair but machinery and equipment were salvaged and sent to Mare Island Navy Yard where entirely new ships were built around the salvaged material and given the wrecked ship's names and hull numbers”

CM Oglala at Pearl but with major Damage (she was not raised till mid Apr 42)
“She received temporary repairs during much of the rest of 1942 and, in December, left Pearl Harbor for the U.S. west coast, there to be refurbished for active service. She was redesignated ARG-1 in May 1943 and recommissioned at the end of February 1944 ”
