my guide is about as good as they get and can be converted to a win 7 install tbh

without knowing your problem or error given, it's had to say what can or could be wrong, for me don't play the game, just update it to the latest version first, then with the guide, so it it helps any, there's plenty of threads / posts on screen res to try what's posted to see if any help, but a report is always better, then sometimes you can see an error and give advice on what to do or to try

I'm quite confused.First of all the game work,is the patch that don't.If i try the update 1.027 all is ok but if i try with any unofficial i read the message about the resolution.One old patch that don't work is the one with the scenario Revenge for Bruno attached.
I have checked the conf. file(all is OK) and i have cheked also for the update online.Result:the game is updated.

beta update is just a copy and paste affair, not a auto update as such

make sure you install UPDATE1 before overwriting the game executable with the 1.0.28 version attached in this message.

so game as up to date as it can be then download the new EXE, and copy paste it into the game folder and over write the older same name file, you need admin permissions to do this, and also maybe need to alter your anti virus settings or at least check it to see if it's that which is stopping it work...

yes that's the latest, now just copy the .28 exe on top, then it will be version 1.0.28 beta installed and your done

just double checked the installations again on windows 7 as well, all working fine here

Here start the problem.Seem that all the unofficial patch have this problem ,the official 1.'.27 no.

you haven't followed the guides or maybe don't understand what i'm trying to say, but if you don't follow the guides it won't work for you...

and from the screen you have shown, you have clicked on it without following any of my guides or the advice offered above by the maker / developer either, it's not a game on it's own, it's a patch, that needs coping and pasting into the main game installation folder, as shown in the guides

Sorry Zakblood ,i'm a little deficent but not at all[:D]. From few days i have the new PC with WIN7 and this is the problem.In the past i was used with XP where this kind of files have had always the .exe after the name.Now i have reinstalled the game and i was in confusion created by this fact.

2) Fixed 1024x768 resolution issue for log window being too big as well as the Pop up window was not positioned properly.

Is there anyway to make that pop up stack window behavior consistent? (i.e. Either always sticks, or never sticks (which would be my personal preference, but consistency is primary)).

acropora, in Windows 7, you can turn on the display of file extensions (e.g. .exe, .bat, etc.) by following the instructions here: http://www.howtohaven.com/system/show-f ... orer.shtml

Here are two saved game files:

"AFV-CC-lock_Pre-Fire-Segment" was saved at the very start of the German Fire Segment: there are seven T-34 M43 in CC with as many German Elite squads.

"AFV-CC-lock_Pre-Fire-Segment" was saved after all the T-34s have been destroyed by the Pz Kpfw IV H's. The target hexes are still marked with the CC marker and the squads previously engaging the T-34s in CC cannot be selected. The marker remains in place until the end of the Close Combat segment. The squads cannot be selected (and therefore cannot undertake any activity) in the Fire, Movement, Advancing Fire and Advance Segments.

This bug is now fixed, and it will be available in the next UPDATE 2 that I'm currently working on
