Well, this is getting interesting. The soviets have a great opportunity to strike and seize some of the bridges into Hamelin over the Hamel River. The action in this scenario mounts quickly and with my next reinforcements not arriving for another 25 minutes, they may be too little too late...

Here is the current situation.

I have noticed this a couple of times - check the Intel report and in this case the listing for enemy groups 2 and 3 are identical. It is not a big deal, but just thought I would mention it.

Luckily for me, the soviets have not yet exploited their success. They still have time to seize the opportunity, but their orders cycle may have saved me - for a little while at least.

Mike, do you have a save game for the turn with the buggy Intel report? We can check it out. Thanks.

0805 - things are going okay...

T-80S are in Hamelin - this is not a good thing!

Either zip the file or PM it to me or send it to capn(dot)darwin(at)windstream(dot)net. Replace the at and dots.

Things are getting very interesting. T-80s have penetrated into Hamelin, my reserve has arrived and I am setting up some counter attacks....

I think that the orders cycle has helped me here - the Soviets secured entry into Hamelin, but were not able to exploit.

Hopefully, my reinforcing Inf company will be in place around the eastern side of the bridge before the T-80s start moving again...

As for the battle, it continues to rage around the edges of Hamelin.

18 minutes later, and the situation has changed. T-80s are pushing along the Hamel river picking up the bridges (and their VPs). My Infantry are in place to defend the bridge.

I have recaptured the bridge outside of Afferde - I need to get at least one bridge back in Hamelin to get a Tactical victory... Right now, I have a weak marginal victory...

I'm thinking that the Soviets are having issues with resupply, like I am. Some more jockeying around in Hamelin.
