Finally found some time to play ...
Thoughts
Option 2 is the one that gives me the best chance to win. I can disrupt the Soviet advance, seize some VP locations and hopefully punish the lead Soviet forces early.
I’m making a slight change in the Option, moving the 2nd Armd to the North and the 4th Inf into the middle. This would permit me to use the valley/depression along the Wumme river in the North more effectively and maybe I could hit the Soviets farther to the East.
I’m going to send my Cobras along the Weser River to strike the Soviets far to the East – coming out on the Eastern side of the woods that at South East of Sagehorn
My Arty is going to place minefields near Fischerhude by the bridges to slow the Soviets down if they come in from the North.
I’m expecting the Soviets are going to come quickly and in force – I need to remember this and not be surprised.

What did I do right?
Switching the 2nd Armd Bn to the North was a good idea. I was able to deal more effectively with the Soviet threat from the North.
The overall plan was good – get into location quickly and then eat up the Soviet attacks.
I used Assault movement to get my forces in place initially and that worked well.
Delaying the engagement of the Cobras was a good idea as it allowed me to take out a lot of the Soviet AD systems.
What could I improve on?
I left at least one HQ behind in the initial deployment – not a good idea.
Should have switched the tanks of 2nd Armd into hold tasks earlier. I would likely have taken less damage.
Thoughts on the scenario/game
This scenario was fun. It did not last long, but it was really nice to see my plan come together. Overall, it was short and sweet!
The campaign was fun too. It was very cool using the same units through 5 scenarios and I was able to better understand how to use them. I’m happy with the outcome of the campaign, would have loved a decisive result, but a tactical one was the right answer.
