ORIGINAL: Gunner98
Here is my shot at a Strike Tutorial #1. Have included a word document for the player to follow along with - not sure that is a good idea or not.
Should we post these here or on the Scenario page, as they could probably use a quick round of testing.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tutorial. This noob learned a lot. Please make more.

Up and running with DB 467. CoW not needed. The latest DB is. Gunner is putting a lot of knowledge and work into these. Highly recommended even for experienced players. Never hurts to re-visit the basics.

Just posted Air 101
http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4311666 should take about 10 -15 mins to complete. A very simple GCI. My first attempt at any scenario building so open to suggestions.
Cheers Paul

Here is the wrap up of some 'Strike Tutorials'. Only got to #6 from the original post, life is just getting in the way, may get the last two done eventually but best to get these out now I think.
Dimitris: There is a 'Campaign file' set up but one of the testers picked up an error. I have not dealt with campaign files before so it may be something simple I can fix, not sure if you want to have someone take a look. The detail is on page two of this thread.
tm.asp?m=4300402&mpage=2
Hope this helps.

Thanks for sharing this, Bart!
The problem with the campaign file was that it was referencing some of the scenarios using file names that had changed in the meantime (e.g. one reference was for [Some scen].v1.2 whereas the scen filename had the "v1.3" suffix, so there was a mismatch).
I took the liberty of editing the scen filenames and the campaign so that they match correctly (see attached). I also did some light tweaks to the scen #1 briefing.
You have done a superb job!

Thank you Dimitris
I have #7 crafted and #8 worked out in draft. Will eventually get back to them but its probably best to put these out there.
I may try and tackle the Maritime Ops tutorials in the future but it won't be until the new year. So if anyone else has some ideas they should carry on.
This is a great idea.
Cheers

First I would like to thank Gunner98 for his superb work on the strike tutorials, they were unvaluable to comprehend the possibilities of strike mission planning, still leaarning of course but at least now I have a clue.
About the Maritime Tutorials I would suggest a couple on landing operations, one simple with few units to learn the basics and one a full fledged invasion with landing crafts, transport choppers, attack choppers and all things attached.

I'd just like to chime in and thank Gunner98 for the missions as well as the CMANO team for adding it in as a campaign to the base game. I'm only up to mission #4, but this has been a real eye opener for me, and very fun as well!

I'm one of those people lost in the original tutorials. Have the new tutorials been added to the base game?

Hello everyone!
Following these guidelines, I've created a few tutorials covering Air-to-Air Warfare (both modern and historical combat), Cargo Operations, ASW Operations and Mining (mine-sweeping and mine-laying).
I've uploaded them in the Mods and Scenarios section of the forum and you can find them here:

I hope you like them!
Greetings!
