What would you do now?? [&:]

I'd get the **** out.

I hate fighting in India. The rail network allows for Allied counterattack, infinite supply and access to an adjacent impenetrable off-map wormhole. Other than liquidating Ceylon and back-filling the far NE in India, the subcontinent is a veritable sink of manpower for the Japanese. Me no likee.

June 12 at the dot base called Tezpur...
Ouch! The date that will truly live in infamy.
Go for Greater India, isolate Karachi with KB. At minimum you will draw out his carriers

Any way to get some up to my starving troops??
Crank sliders up in Kweisui/Paotow for couple turns then release and hope for the best.

Most of my co-workers wouldn't. [:(] They have a BS or MSW (or other mental health) with maybe a few years of experience. So, they cannot be told jokes with a date before 2000.
I was staring for a few seconds comprehending what kind of mental health disorders are those abbreviations and where the heck do you work with such coworkers [:D]

I typed up a long version of what I didn't like with your aircraft production system, but the system ate it. My observations/ opinions are similar to PaxMondo's impressions.

ETA: I'll try again here in brief. Decide on a primary IJAAF platform and build it to about half the level current. I wouldn't keep my Lily, Sally *and* Helen production simultaneously running-I'd focus on the latter and build maybe 50-60/month. Also too many A6M3b and Nick. Why production of both the G3M2 and G3M3?

Your in-game production screen is showing nearly 60 a/c per day, but your tracker chart is showing 27 ac/day. I have no idea what changes you have made to the economy in this mod, but are you expending HI for aircraft R&D?

He mentions he has a bunch of factories turned off ... but that is still HI and supply spent. However, having taken India, he can afford this somewhat.

Congratulations on your stunning early wins...but your economy is definitely not humming along.[:(] At least not for a Sep 1945 length game.

You need to grow your stockpiles and describe your plane r&d status.

You spent a lot of fuel on that day in your ships...why so much?

Remember, the US is your dire threat and true enemy...don't fall victim to victory disease.[;)]

Why not a drive to Karachi through Dehli, as fast as possible?

IJN ship building: Not seen in screenshot is about a dozen subs halted to allow others to be built. Is there anything here you would change and why??

Engines: I love this pop up in Tracker. [;)] Right now efforts are going into steady expansion of Naka Ha-45 for my late war fighters. 2 of 6 factories are expanding so the other four can keep up R&D numbers.
Please let me know if you need other info here.

Aircraft: I don't know this mod, so I have no idea of what aircraft does what. But I do know this: the IJ economy cannot support the variety and flexibility of the allies. The allies can afford to have idle AC factories, IJ cannot. Every AC factory built needs to be run 100% of the time flat out, or you wasted supply/HI building it. Further, IJ doesn't have spare air groups that can be set up and conserved to run a special ops mission, IJ needs every airgroup available to fly a primary mission every turn. Doesn't mean they fly every turn, IJ cannot afford that either. But, to support a key objective, every airgroup needs to be ready to fly in support of that objective.

Next, the IJ can only build so many aircraft the entire war. The amount of HI that the IJ will produce between 41 to 46 is calculable, it is finite. So, how many A6M do you want to build giving up an A7M? How many Ki-43 instead of Ki-84? It is very easy to overbuild between 41 and 44 as the IJ. There are currently several active AAR's where the IJ is short of supply ... the outcome of over building early. As Mike used to say: build each factory one at a time. Be sure you really need it before you commit to it. Each factory that you build will keep an ID in the field for almost 2 months ... in combat for about a week. Every IJ player who gets to '45 always wishes they had more supply ... My supply target for 6/44 is 10M minimum ... my stretch goal is 15M (never been close as it would mean saving 15K/day, but I can dream), but I hit +10M. For you to hit 10M, you would need to be banking ~12K/day from now on .... your recent 14 day avg is 7.1K/day which would have you ending up with 7.5M supply 6/44. 2.5M supply is roughly 50 ID's in combat for 50 weeks or 10,000 sorties per day for 250 days. Just some numbers for you to play with ...

Meanwhile, the morning of the 30th sees an invasion force off Christmas Island. The Emily at Tabiteuea didn't have their range high enough to see anything. They are joint by the Zero and Nell groups after the fact.

Observation - Brian had the operations in NW Oz kick off a turn or two before this invasion. File that info away for later.

July 1st - NW corner of Australia: Brian sends both CV TF at full speed to west and WWS. My orders are now to order KB-4 to full speed due south. "IF" I had done so last turn, I would have been about 5 hexes from the Brit CVs. Crossing fingers that Brian now heads south to fuel at Perth.
