2. Strategic Command 3 = one year and counting.
1. TOAW = 15 years and no end in sight.

Why don't you explain it to those that don't...

3 three only choices of top 3 three only digital games.

In other words, no blathering about games once you have mentioned three distinct titles ie a variant is a different choice and would be one of your 3 choices. So Civ 1 and 2 are two choices and not one choice. You can talk all about your three choices, but you have to stick with commenting on just the choice. No honourary mentions. No comparisons.

This is asking for a pretty impossible feat of memory, but on the grounds that no modern games will qualify because I have so many to chop and change between, then the games have to come from the earlier days of computing games when a new genre hit the market and for a long time there was no real competitor.
