surströmming. An ancient Swedish dish that still is popular in parts of the population.
Edit: I should have said tried to eat. The smell is usually enough for people to retreat from the fish. [:D]

the biggest challenge when eating surströmming is to vomit only after the first bite, as opposed to before
Surstromming for dinner, durian for dessert. [X(]

So New Jersey doesn't like GAS STATION WINE. Is that like the Ripple, that cheap wine back in my day.
Ahh, nothing like stuffing your pockets full of 99 cent bottles of Ripple wine to sneek them into a Wisconsin Badger football game. Of course when you wanted to impress someone with fine wine you spent an extra 25 cents for Boones Farm wine.
Those were quart bottles if I remember.

I have lived here since age 7 and I had to look it up.
I can't say I hate it but I also have never had to forage on my own so maybe I would hate it?
Foraging for food makes me think of something you would have to do if shipwrecked or your plane crashed in northern Canada.

That's a crazy hate. every state hates foraged food (who wants to do that for food). Can you imagine us if we were forced to forage for food? Most americans would die from starvation.
All we know is fast food, canned food, Already prepared meals, food shipped to the super market, and restaurant food.

I like spinach, and sometimes add curry powder to make Sag aloo.
