I just tried it.
I clicked on my banner, took me to The Depot page.
I clicked on the D/L link, a small window appeared on my browser on the bottom left corner. It states "This type of file can harm your computer. Do you want to keep ENH-FR Full Install.exe anyway?" with two buttons beside it - Keep / Discard.
Click on Keep and away you go!!!!

You will get that flag because I didn't fill in all the boxes when I made that install file, not being a big-time outfit like Matrix/Slitherene sometimes these things will happen.

Is that what you're talking about???

sorry to be a dunce, but when you say full install, you mean i dont need my copy of SPWaW to play it?

You are not a dunce.

You don't need your copy of SPwaW to play. This is the full game, with the Enhanced Mod.
Over 300 scenarios and close to 40 campaigns, all adapted to the Enhanced standards.
All the supporting programs that we could find, and a totally revamped set of sound files.
Plus a bunch of other stuff.

All in one installation.

What happens is this:

1- I click on your photo and get this page:

(Either Microsoft or my server simply to not allow to access that page. Perhaps there is some pirated content on mediafire, so it´s considered illegal hereabouts?)

You are not a dunce.

You don't need your copy of SPwaW to play. This is the full game, with the Enhanced Mod.

great thanks, i just didnt think you would be able to make available the full game, when Matrix is still selling in their store, but i am guessing one needs the serial key still nevertheless

To be clear, this is just a mod of the free game, for the Mega-Campaigns you still gotta go buy them from Matrix.
We do have the patched mech.exe for the stock version (8.403) that will make the Generals Edition playable if that's what you'd like.

Regarding the naming confusion:

1. Steel Panthers: World at War = Free game.
2. Steel Panthers: World at War "Generals Edition" = Free game + commercial Mega Campaigns. (NOT FREE!)
3. Steel Panthers: World at War Enhanced FR mod = Fan made mod for the free game.
4. Steel Panthers: World at War Enhanced FR Full = Free game + fan made mod in one package. (a.k.a. SPWAW 2016)

Now a source of additional confusion may be the word "Enhanced" which is not to be confused with the naming of Shrapnel Games / Camo Workshops "WinSPWW2" and "WinSPMBT" games where they market the commercial version as "Enhanced CD version".



Regarding download problems:

If the Enhanced FR Full mod download is blocked by your ISP you can still get the stock free game from here:

Assuming of course that gamers hell is not also blocked...

Then apply the patches as needed.

I would recommend 8.3 patch:

Followed by the Unofficial Depot Patch 8.403d to fix the artillery screen and scroll delay.
(You can skip the 8.4 and 8.403 patches.)

okay so i have the Matrix Games store bought SP WaW game and so the SP Waw full enhanced game is lacking the mega mod thingy - i noticed since having installed this new version of hte depot game, that it doesnt show up in the start menu except for uninstall option - is this right?

it is all a bit confusing tbh - so now for the matrix games steel panthers game, if i want to make sure that one also has this artillery fix added i just add the mech.exe file to that game directory

my confusion also lies in that you mentioend the mech.exe file fix for the "stock version" so i took this to mean the original SSI game (of which i also am owner)

No. Stock version means any SPWaW version that does not have a fan created mod in it.
So that would mean the free SPWaW and the "Matrix Games store bought SP WaW game".

Just forget about the original SSI made Steel Panthers 1,2 and 3 for now. You are starting to confuse me also! [X(][;)]
