I can confirm that, it happens to me too using the public beta patch.

Are you using the latest public beta update?

I'm using 4.0.1.22

Hey Curt dude, I just now started up a game using 22 and set the computer to play the computer and started it up and
it did not crash but did about five furballs destroying the AA units in 43,2 ( or wherever it was ) and there was
a B-52 unit lost in each of the furballs. I'll attach a saved game file to the next post below.

Hello everyone, I have been playing Campaign for South Vietnam and encountered a bug on turn 4 where, when I click on end turn, the game crashes to desktop and will not continue. Am I the only one having this issue. Any suggestions?

Are you running the latest version of the scenario? Not that that would be the problem. Are you running the very
latest TOAW 4 patch? I'm sorry you're having this problem. Maybe you should open a trouble ticket in the Tech Support
section.

I too am getting a crash after Turn 6. I'm using the latest version 5.1 and also the beta patch.

If I were you I'd post something in the Tech Support section of the forum because that sounds like a
bug of some kind. That's not supposed to ever happen. Something is obviously wrong.

Yep. My error was thinking I had installed the newest beta when I had not.

I love the csv scenario I have played on TOAW 3 for years. I started to play the latest version on TOAW 4 it was great for the first 4 or 5 turns. Some where between May and July of 65 when it changes sides it kicks me out to the main menu,

So I have not got past June of 65. I am a bit of a newbe at loading scenarios. I did put the SCE file along with the BMP and word doc in the Modern Asian directory I then put the folder (with graphics and equipment) with the the same scenario name in the graphics override folder.

I have tried 3 times and it works fine until the may or june of 65 turn. I am playing the allies and I finish my turn and when the NLF turn runs before I start my turn I get kicked to the main menu and lose everything from the turn and can not advance any further in the game.

Any ideas? I am sure it must be a user error. But I am not sure what to do. Perhaps uninstall TOAW 4 and start over. I was palying Vietnam 65-68 and was 25 turns into it without problems but that was a preloaded scenario.

Thanks for any help. I like CSV and believe it to be one of the best Vietnam scenarios for TOAW especially now when you can activate at the brigade level.

The Beta Patch 4.01.23 seems to have fixed the crash issue I am through turn 10.

i encountered a bug. There is invisible ninja guerilla unit. it was visible before i attacked.

A little late to the party on this one, but out of curiosity, what is the most current updated version of this campaign? I like the one posted in-game but if it has an update I'd like to know. Thanks!
