Hi sapper32, is this the maximum zoom available for this scenario? It would be great if you can let us have some detail for each landing zone if possible.

I will zoom in and divide the reports into US 1st Army and 2nd BR Army now that the battle area is spreading out a little.

D+4 Allied Turn Utah Beach

US V Corps tasks elements of 2nd and 4th Divisions to assault and capture St Mere Eglise.After
bombardment by V Corps Arty and naval assets the town is captured the Germans retreat with heavy
losses,

D+4 Allied Turn US VII Corps/BR 2nd Army

US VII Corps attacks southwards engaging units of the 352nd Div and a motorised bde, The corps
focus will be to advance towards St Lo and get out into more open country.

BR XXX Corps has eliminated the pocket formed in the last turn destroying several grenadier
regiments of 716th/352nd Divisions,Forward elements of 7th Armd Division including 5th RTR and
1/6 Queens have skirmished with recce elements of Pzr Lehr Division.

BR VIII Corps spearheaded by 9th Infantry Bde of 3rd Division and 1st SSB supported by 4th Armd
Bde attack and drive 21st Pzr out of Caen but unfortunately they haven't enough movment points
to enter the city, I expect 21st Pzr to retake Caen but VIII Corps is confident of capturingit
next turn.

D+5 Allied Turn

The PO has been busy moving troops and has after 6 combat rounds forced the BR 5th Para Bde to
retreat to the Orne bridges but only after some heavy German casualties.

21st Pzr has moved back into Caen with a mixed bag of Pzr/Pzr Gr and motorised units.

US 12th RCT of 4th Division has been driven out of St Mere Eglise by elements of the 2nd FJ/3rd FJ and the
243rd Div

Her main armament may have been down to six working barrels, she may have been reduced to less than 20 knots, but HMS Warspite continues to do her duty, supporting the troops ashore. Her wartime service has but five months to run. From Jutland to Walcheren, she has done her country proud.

Great pic Warspite1 she certainly did us proud and BTW the BR 43rd Division is available in theatre
options just got to decide when to call them over

D+5 End of Axis Turn

The Germans have again retaken St Mere Eglise despite determined resistance by US troops. The Germans
however have taken serious losses in the fight for the town over the last few turns and V Corps commander
hopes that with the arrival of US 9th Div and US 2nd Armd he can make progress.

D+5 End of Axis Turn

US VII Corps has engaged the German 30th Schnelle Bde and destroyed two of its battalions and surrounded
the other one which will be finished off next turn, The German 17th SS Pzr Gr Division has arrived at St Lo
and dug in, US VII Corps will assault and capture St Lo as its next objective

D+5 End of Axis Turn

BR 2nd Army are still assaulting Caen and again BR 3rd Div forced most of 21st Pzr to retreat but
again did not have enough MPs to move into the town. BR XXX Corps are still heading towards Villars
Bocage but are now facing Pzr Lehr Division. BR 49th Division is moving up to the front and the
Canadians are still resting, I feel need to call over some more units so Dempsey has called up
BR 11th Armd Div plus 15th Scottish Division

Thank-you. I won't change my current AAR part-way through but will look at this for future ones, I really like the effect.

D+6 Allied Turn

US V Corps has again captured St Mere Eglise maybe I can hold it this turn,The US 2nd Armd Division
has advanced 15km and has cut the road into the Cherbourg peninsular I hope this will now enable me
to turn north and capture Cherbourg and a much needed supply source.

You mentioned that you needed another supply source so I'm
wondering what your supply situation looks like right now.

D+6 Allied Turn

BR VIII Corps mounts a strong attack to capture Caen again 51st Highland Division supported by BR 3rd
Division and the 1stSSB cause the 21st Pzr heavy losses forcing them to retreat,BR 154th Bde of 51st
Highland division is first into Caen lets hope we can hold it this time.
On the road to Villars Bocage BR XXX Corps engage Pzr Lehr no ground is given by either side, BR I Corps
will move up to support XXX Corps as its units arrive

Hi Larry its not great the Utah Beach area across to the Cherbourg peninsular is pretty poor capturing
Cherbourg will improve supply and release unit types into the replacement pool that are not yet
available.

Will there be four distinct armies represented e.g. British 2nd and Canadian 1st (iirc the US 1st and 5th?) or is there no distinction here at army level?

I will have to check to be sure, there are Army HQs so far only the US 1st and 2nd BR but no corps HQs Divisions are all set to Army support while corps troops
are set to force support
