The worst case is that I will re-install the game from the CD R/W drive.
Then it should run OK.
And then I can play the both your turns

eBay, the greatest place to find anything from used wargames to unused virgins.
Well I have only heard they have virgins
But the one thing I have definitely heard, is while eBay has almost everything, you can expect to pay more for it, than it likely cost new originally.

Guess you are lucky Slaak
I know of a few friends that intentionally get things, just to resale them on eBay with the express purpose of milking the item for bonus cash to persons desperate for the item.
That won't always be the case I suppose, but I do know it happens.
Me, no I have never bought anything through eBay. To date, I have always already owned the item in the conversation.

Might be... especially if the claimed contents (CC5/Panzer General 3D Assault/Steel Beasts) are in the box; it seems the box illustrated shows Steel Panthers III and People's General - can't quite make out the other two... oh wait, it says it right below: SU 27 Flanker Squadron Commander Edition and Team Apache.
If they've got one with CC5, I'll be a-grabbin' that come next payday...
The Amazon UK one is fairly cheap, but they don't ship to Yanquis, apparently: "This item can only be delivered within the European Union and these additional countries" ("countries" page:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/sub ... 34-7662802 ).
(If the URL fails, look higher in this forum-thread and find the original URL, then find the "countries" link.)
Hmmm. £8.99 new, and I've seen some Ebay auctions out of the UK where the bidding's been up over $30, plus shipping. <shrug> Oh well. I'm the guy that bought one book (1st edition AD&D Dieties & Demigods, I think, with Cthulhu and the Melnibonean <sp?> stuff, lightly used condition) for 75 cents, and sold it for like unto $42 plus shipping a number of years back.
Note also the cheesy bastards on Ebay selling a home-burned copy of the CC5 Okinawa mod... available online free. <sigh>

Karnaaj you made same error I made initially.
I think all of the items viewed on that list are included. But you can bet I would be contacting Chips to get a solid answer back first myself.

If you check the wargames list on C&B, it lists "Ultimate Wargames Collection Volume 3: Modern War Bundle CD", which brings up the CC5/PG3DA/SB listing with the incorrect box and other data. Right below it on the list, tho, is an "unselectable" one: "Ultimate World War 2 Game Collection DOS/WIN 95 CD" - which, I'd bet, *is* the three-pack in question. (Sounds more like it, anyways...)
Yah, I'm awaiting word from C&B meself. <G>

Anyone interested in Close Combat: Invasion Normandy, it's on sale at GoGamer.com for $12.90.
48 hour sale with just over 47 hours left.
I've purchased from them several times and they've been reliable.

I just ordered cc3,cc4 and cc5 and i still have my old cc2 and just found how amazing fun it is. Computer is delivering som stiff resistance at the hardest level.
As an pro axis im planning to first visit the russians steppes in cc3, then see the normandy invasion by the jenkies at cc5, marget garden at cc2 and finaly my very own counterattack that will bring me the final victory in cc4.
(didnt bother with cc1 cos that one seems to be very lacking and cc5 does it so much better)

Zakhal: thanks for the tip - I did go ahead and grab CC5 from gogamer.com... and eventually <G> I'll get it installed. (Partial list of stuff to install/reinstall: CC2/3/4/5, Combat Mission:BO/BB, all three Operation Flashpoint items, Ghost Recon (just got it cheap at Costco)... plus *playing* H2H (*mean* sound effects <G>) and Lost Victories. Need to get that 48-hour day patch for Real Life, I guess...)
