TREASON!!! BETRAYAL!!! Bellow the headlines of the Belgrade Gazette and the Sofia times as Greece, distraught at the loss of its navy and fearing turkish warships off Athens, signs a separate peace. "We can't have a second salamis without a navy" the Greek Minister of War was heard to mutter. In the meantime, the Ottomans firmly denied rumors of a gold transfer to the bank account of the Greek PM's brother-in-law.

Pressing their advantage, the Ottomans attack a second Bulgarian brigade that has been surrounded. It takes almost the entire turn and two rounds of assaults, but, in the end more Bulgarian men trudge off to join their comrades in Turkish POW camps.

As always, at a high cost to the Turkish army. Heavy losses and almost an entire corps that needs to rest and regroup closer to Ottoman supply lines. But, Thessolonki is back in supply!

I hope you get trounced and the Greeks liberate all their fellow countrymen that still live in the former Eastern Roman Empire territories under the Ottoman yoke!

Since Greece just signed a separate peace I don't think they get to share in any spoils if the Balkan league wins.

Turns go by pretty fast so here is turn 13. No big news except that righteous partisans outraged at Balkan League war crimes have showed up in the north. They actually moved and blew up two RR bridges that should make the Bulgarian supply situation near Thessoloniki precarious.

On turn 14 the see saw battle on the Bulgarian right flank continues with each side trading attacks. The Ottoman forces behind the lines are resting. The Serbs, however, decided to get off the wagon and help push by capturing Morsitar in the West. That was a 10 VP city.

Recognizing that they were stuck and facing a hard winter, the Balkan League sued for peace in November 2012. Turkey agreed to some border adjustments with Serbia, Bulgaria and Greece but did not lose substantial territory.

Balkan League losses were heavy.

But the Ottoman losses were even heavier. Nevertheless, the Ottoman Empire received a fillip in its morale while the Balkan league plotted to return to the battle field in the near future.

This was a fun little scenario. There are not a lot of units and while the Balkan League is stronger in many ways it has the burden of attack and, as we saw, a more dicey political situation since it's made up of countries that would sell each other out in a minute. And, the Turks do have some opportunities to counter attack. I'd rate it an 8.5/10.
