France: As per regular homeland security policies France is reinforcing and reorganising the Ligne Maginot. Routine exercises involving several Army Corps have been performed in the Strasbourg region.

British engineers spent May working with French engineer in their efforts to repair fortifications. For the second straight month, Britain sent military aid to China. With a Japanese fleet stationed off the shores of Hong Kong, Britain fears the worst and has begun building on their Pacific presence.

2 May 1938 - CHINA

The vile Japanese landed in Canton ! They are attempting to encircle our armies. The situation is extremely tense and the nation is on maximum alert. Conscripts are coming from the whole country to reinforce the brave Chinese army. International aid has been received from France, Britain and America and is very welcome !
