Good AAR, looking forward to the next episode

A smokescreen is placed along the eastern edge of Dorten to obscure the area where the regiment's second echelon was assembling after moving along the narrow forest roads. (It would not be sufficient enough, and British artillery would shortly after begin crashing down on the Soviet tanks forcing the assault to commence early.)

Two destroyed Soviet T-80's can be seen in the field east of Dorten, victims of British artillery.

As suspected, British forces occupied defensive positions along the eastern bank of the Innerste River.

The 63rd Guards Tank Regiment reached the small Innerste River with at least a full battalion still intact and ready to strike west towards the d A7 Autobahn, the division's initial objective for the day. In doing so, it had badly mauled a British Mechanized Infantry battalion.
