Apparently, rifle fire is enough to stop an R-2 tank.
We manage to retaliate some by destroying a BA-6 in the north and a Lorenzo Lamas flame tank in the south. Several MG PzI are under heavy fire. Can he, can I.
Bikers still going for the booze.

TANKS on the hill in the south! Trying to suppress them until I can get some can openers sent that way.
AT rifle got a few hits on 2 tanks in the north. Armored cars exchanged fire in the center with no results.
I must say both sides seem to equally "suck".

Suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.
Fire at them and they're out of action for two turns.
You got your entire artillery back online, I see.

Mental note to self: Never do this again.

KO'd 2 more tanks in the North with ATR fire. Still holding but there is some skirmishing taking place.
The center is rough, ran off two MC squads and trying to scare off those tanks with just rifle fire....taking a few casulaties in the process.
Down South nothing major happening except trying to rally most of my forces due to "they suck" and the heavy arty that just landed on them.
*hmmm, I can upload the file from work...but not at home*

Got to collect my bikers in my defensive line again. One thing you can say about this battle - it's anything but static.

North, we accomplish nothing but uprooting a Legion squad, but we then lose a tank to heavy artillery.
In the center, we manage to locate a very cleverly concealed sniper and take him out with a grenade. Hyuk hyuk. :p Spanish Legion squads are making their third push for the VH area, but are repulsed again with losses.
In the south, the 105 barrage arrived in the nick of time. *phew* We can't fight and neither can they.
My artillery is all gone again. How come that ALWAYS happens to me? Can anyone explain, pleeease.

Man this is exciting....
In the North I lost a tank to a lucky long shot. My ATR team needs glasses...but we knew that already.
In the center it looks like i'm slowly getting ground up by arty and the MC squads with little effect on your troops.
In the South I made a crew bail from a tank then killed it...still rallying troops from the arty barrage.
oops

O, can you please re-send the files? I accidentally deleted the correct game turn, so now I'm back at turn 10.

We're on the roll again but doesn't accomplish much. A ATR group is dislocated in the north and some Legion squads are killed in the center.
The rest are running.

Not much going on...just trying to rally some.
Killed a tank in the center but it looks like the north is under a Romanian "Blitzkreig".

The craziness continues.....
Our "push" in the north makes a few legion squads leave their trenches and head for safety. A stolen BA-6 has its' crew run away after a glance shot from a....well whatever those tanks I have are called. "cowards-in-a-can"? :p
In the center a few bikers return after a trip back to the local licensed establishment. A Legion squad is chased away. The central village looks funny by now. Situated on a hill, with a north-south road cleaving it in half. The western half is reduced to rubble along with the land around it, not a house is keft standing. The eastern half is almost intact, and probably inhabitated by evil-looking Spaniards.
South is a mess.
Turn ends with half my army retreating.... *sigh*...

Killed the pesky tank in the center...took nearly 20 troopers to do it! Also ran off a MC squad as well.
In the North one of my tanks took some damage from your numerous tanks.
The South has bogged down for the moment.

Dear Lord, I've never seen that many molotov cocktails fly at a single tank.

Y'know, my LT vz.35 tanks are really canvas mockups with a PA system blaring motor noise...seeing how well they perform in combat.
The PzI/20 up north is put out of its misery, and we FINALLY get a lock on the ATG position. :p Tanks roll forward, Legions run away....
In the center the Legion are obviously still in possession of the village, as they fire even from the western part. A MG car and ATG crew tries to flank to the south, but are taken under fire from our troops advancing further south. Not much else to report.
Uhmm... Overlord, what kind of OOB are you playing with? Your AT rifles have 500kg bombs strapped to them.
Note: Romanian tanks are, contrary to popular belief, a marvel of technical craftsmanship - not a single breakdown or immobilization! Had this been german tanks, I'd have had lost at least a platoon to terrain and breakdowns by now...

Not having much luck against that tank drive in the North. Attempting to stop them with what I have...which isn't much.
Had the scout car in the center damaged as well.
Thought I was using the standar v7.1 oobs?? I saw that 500kg thing too but it acts like a rifle so I think it's just a name problem. Check your OOB and see if it's got the same thing.

Make what progress we can. A legion squad is destroyed in the north, and we harrass the disabled car in the center.
Not much else, the entire biker gang is running home to mommy.
About the Solothurns; it says Lee Enfield in slot 2 in the Encyclopedia, so it may just be some name error...

Killed a MC squad and a crew in the center and ran off a recon unit in the south.
The North is getting ready to turn ugly......

Ahh.. after a siesta called and agreed upon on both sides, the gloves are back on and we're heading forward again... or, that's the plan at least. :p
Our PapierPanzer-blitz in the north works fairly well. It seems the Spanish are desperately trying to counter the threat by sending numerous ATR teams to their death. One team bites the bullet this round, another is under fire. A legion squad is dispersed - one that I didn't even see!

Our remaining tank in the center spots an armored car ladened with more rifle boys heading towards the northern hill and prompty puts a hole in it. AT boys have to walk now, tee hee.
South sees a little fight as we for the umpteenth time rout a cavalry squad...they just keep coming and coming...
Heavy artillery lands in the north, but most falls off target. I still don't expect to hear anything from my tanks for the next two turns as a result!

Sheesh! Getting hard to fight tanks without tanks. Now I know how the Poles felt in '39
Nothing happening...just try to steady for the final push and hold what I can since it appears I can only defend at the moment.

The tankers brave the 149mm storm and pushes forward in the north, capturing the VH cluster. Some Legion squads have dug in good at the ridge top, and are given the "treatment" from all directions. Still there, but hopefully a bit shaken. A 65mm IG has made its way to the front and tried to open one of our tanks to no avail. We doused it with bullets without much success..
In the south, advancing engineers round up the corral and sends the Spanish cavalry fleeing in all directions. Where did the Moroccans go?
