For the record, Hawk, I'm not hiding. Do you have any idea how long it takes to move a Tiger anywhere? I know the speed was set to simulate the poor tranny, busted seals, and other maintainance issues, but couldn't they have given it the speed of walking foot.

Action on the front as screening smoke is starting to appear.

Fair enough my friend.....

Sorry for the delay, I had company and tthen had to fix something on my neice's side of the hard drive. With XP you get to set up different users and she doesn't have admin rights.

That, however, is neither here, nor there, but I suppose it's somewhere.

Question: are all of these set up with the American as Player One?

No problem with the Delay

As far as the Setup .....i think Americans go first all the time.......this is Jess's maps and setup so.......thats why....i guess

It is a very "Hot" Summer day here in the Desert. Hiding behind Palm trees is not gonna work here. We drink our Ice tea's and smoke the last of the cig's.....for battle is near.......

One of the largest Katboxes in the world stretches before my tank. Ahead lies an oasis town with date palms lining its edges. My men are looking forward to a brief respite from the heat and dust of this wind swept land and are eager to reach the town. We must proceed slowly, however. We just recieved word from a passing Messerschmidt, low on fuel and heading to his airfield, of an American tank approaching from the other side.

At least in this terrain the Tiger has some mobility.

Dam it's hot in this Tank!!!!!!!

It's quiet. We can't even hear the roar of the American tank's supercharged V8 with straight pipes, but we can smell the hotdogs and softly, in the distance, the sounds of a baseball announcer. I kick my gunner and ask if he knows the differrence between smok and At rounds....

There isn't a lot of lateral manuevering room in our patrol zone, about a kilometer, if that. At least the desert floor is hard and doesn't kick up a lot of dust to give away our position -- a mixed blessing as it prevents us from using the same trick to find the enemy.

Easy Boys..........

I know he's in here somwhere but where?????? He wont make the same mistake twice with the smoke......Nahhh he'll be more aggresive...Yeahhhhhhh he wants to show me what the great Tiger is made of...  He's looking for me Harder!!!!!!!! Well we are ready!!!!! I tell the Driver to stop listening to the "Brooklyn Dodgers on the short wave".....BE ALERT!!!!!!

My driver is running quickly through the radio frequencies to try and find the one the Americans were listening too. I have 10 Riechmarrks on the outcome, and the enemy has turned down the radio so we can't hear it.

Okay, maybe Tigers, don't move any faster in the desert, or maybe we are spending too much time shoveling sand over the trails left by our fuel leak.

Hmmmmmmmm.......

The town is laid out like a dumbell: two larges bubbles of buildings connected by the thin line of the road. This is not efficeint city layout.

Trying to manuever into a good approach lane is tedeous, or so my driver grumbles. How I long for the speend and manueverability of my old Panther. *Sigh* Well, that is progress.
