2nd KIEV Bug (1/2)

At this moment of the game I met the bug in the conditions of victory.
To have a Brilliant Victory, I would have to eliminate the last unit AND capture the last city.
But just capture the last city to have a brilliant victory, no need to kill the last unit.
In reality, it is not recommended to kill the last unit before capturing the city otherwise the player’s objectives become inaccessible.

With the Editor, we can see that the message text should be for the 1st player(soviet) and not the 2nd Player(german)
No bonus for Merefa capture ?

The number of days of the German Objective "Delay the Soviet advance" should be 15 instead of 13 because the Soviet Normal Victory is in 15 days :

Courland

- the number of days does not match for the player’s and enemy’s objectives
- typo and punctuation

Thanks for your reports, terminator.

Bagration & rail damage:

The missing graphics for several rail damage situation is known, but i preferred to advance other graphics in the game (new unit types) instead.

Uranus:

Romania received "Bunker garrison" as new type and its added to the map:

Hi Ronald,

Looks like a ''historical Courland'' scenario mod. Germans still held Liepaja and Ventspils by the day of Germany's surrender, although they lost Saldus and all other cities in the scenario.

If the Soviets are trying to take Liepaja and Ventspils it is ''cut off and destroy''. Germans could either hold Courland or break out to East Prussia. A breakout plan is mentioned by Franz Kurowski in his ''Bridgehead Courland'' (unfortunately I had a Russian version of that book that was unreadable because of hardcore Stalinist editorial footnotes, like calling all refugees ''collaborationists and war criminals'' - some of them were collaborationists but others were just civilians not wishing to end up in Stalin's land.)

Hi folks,

Stalingrad & river names:

There is something strange going on with the river names, it seems the editor does not include them anymore and some maps still shot the names while others don't.
We look into this.

Rumyantsev

2 questions :

1. Campaign tree
A loss at Rumyantsev brings me directly to Chapter III Revenge North (2nd Smolensk). Is this normal? No choice North or South?

2. Partisans
I had a defeat because of the number of turns too short but I never saw the Partisans appear?
I don’t quite understand the conditions in the Editor.
Perhaps with the help of the Partisans I could have won?

1. It can happen, if you do not win Kutusov. Then you will automatically be assigned to the southern route after a victory at Charkow.

2. The conditions were outdated and designed for a different mission. I changed it, so the Partisans appear on turn 4 and 6 to support your attack.

I assumed the player could buy some engineers with the amount of resources givin at Berlins gates. But i could add one or two units if that is needed.

I tried to create something that plays like what happened there. I think if the Soviets had managed to cut off the important ports, the Army Group would not have been able to withstand so long.
But that's utter speculation.

I probably met with damage counting the same problem as in the Vyasma 1941 scenario, impossible to have a brilliant victory :

Hi folks,

Leningrad '44:

Briefing & town with wrong owner are fixed.

As to the Luftwaffe: That area was covered by "Luftgau-Kommando Petersburg" of Luftflotte 1.

Sadly i could not find any more details than that. Wikipedia claims AG North had 140 aircraft in that battle, but i could not find any major engagements in my sources or on the internet that names units or models etc.
Only Soviet bomber attacks from Leningrad airport are mentioned, but nothing on the German side.

If you have better information, i gladly add the units in question.
