Kursk-Kutuzov

Why does the city of Ponyri have a red circle?
I don’t see any objectives on the side of the player or the side of the enemy

If Ponyri falls, Rokossovksy sends in the 9.TankCorps to stabilize the front. This event was marked as a side quest, which makes no sense. The mark is removed. Thanks for the hint.

During the deployment, there is a Text Message that does not seem for the Russians ?

That message was indeed indicated for the wrong side. On top of it the languages in the title were mixed up. While i was at it i checked the other messages in this scenario and it was a mess. I fixed all markers, language and wrong player issues now. Thanks for the report.

Courland (1/2)

I lost in Courland (too many losses).
Why am I being told about Berlin and not Warzaw before?

Berlin is the main goal, that's why it was stated as a more important than grinding the 18.Army.

This unit of Partisans is placed directly at the location of the Bunker Garrison(red arrow). The game then chooses a free hex nearby.
This unit of Partisans is immediately in contact with the enemy and surrounded in this case!

The designer can only designate one hex and then, depending on the current situation the game places the unit in that area. We cannot foresee where either the AI or the player move their units. If you think the location is a bad choice in general, that would be another thing.

It was just a remark that doesn’t change the game.
I would have placed the unit of partisans on a hex that is initially free(not above the Bunker Garrison).

But you are right about that, i didn't get that part when i replied. I should be an a free hex that then could be occupied by chance.

Is there a bug in the campaign path after a defeat in Courland?
Where should we go after a defeat in Courland ?

Hi terminator,

Courland had several errors related to the campaign links which should now all be fixed. See also the release of Ausf.D.

Hi folks,

Historically a defeat (or a failure to win a major victory) in Courland should not prevent the Soviets from advancing in other sectors.
And, historically Germans still held Courland when the war ended.

Courland is not an easy scenario to win.

It should not be easy, in 1945 Soviets only took it after German surrender.

I am not aware of any Soviet plans how to take Courland - but maybe there is a map on the same web page that has the map of Crimea 1941?
