@Alvaro, this surprised me. As I thought all reported casualties would actually be, well casualties.

So can you tell me if the combat log shows actual losses or possible losses (due to the possibility of defense blocking hits)

And what report (if any) shows actual losses rather than potential losses.

Nope I was looking at it. I must have had it that way before and changed it years ago back to absolute losses. The code shows it is absolute losses after all checks.

So this is probably a simple case of a location missing to add or move numbers in specific situations.

For the Reports and Statistics screen can totals be added for the Allies and Axis on the Forces and Casualties reports?

They are the totals?!? So I am not following.

Total Axis Forces and Casualties (roll up the individual countries)
Total Allied Forces and Casualties (roll up the individual countries)
