Do you already know what approach you will take for invasion locations on the map?

Not yet, but the VERY basic beach graphics from Tactics II come to mind.
I don't know which hex edges on the tiles graphic are determined as beaches.
Could you give post a pic of your tiles sheet, showing beaches?
(Should probably post all this into another thread... don't want to hijack this one).

Those beach hexes look quite good. The beaches can be readily identified and the graphics are not overpowering.

You can pick the ocean.png file from my link in the last post and use it. Instant beaches in your game [:D]

I'm surprised how much beach edge there is.
