I should have kept my mouth shut about the reinforcements... :p
I hope I can take the back vhexes before they arrive.
One of my dozers scored two kills this turn, thus reducing opposing force's amount of Stuarts by the very same number.

Just twiddling my thumbs...

The battle has been so straight forward that I haven't even bothered to look at the replays for sevral turns. This must be the worst game I have played.... ever!

Most of those pockets of resistance have been cleared now. Some still remain.
Closing in...
Where did my luck go?!

Usually I think that games are lost due to poor strategy or tactics. Or games are won by good strategy and tactics. But now I almost think that some games are lost by luck...
Several times during the match I have been shooting the enemy armor with my AT-guns, displayed percentages 30-50 and only a few hits. This turn was the same but I scored a hit! But to compensate that the next gun malfunctioned.
I have so little equipment left that I really don't need additional malfunctions. I just hope that time runs out before Teräspantteri gets his troops in my positions.

Luck has definitely been playing larger role than usualy, but I think I would have won this one (by far smaller margin ofcourse) even without Lady Luck flying Japanese colors.
I now have control over all the vhexes...
All is lost

I must congratulate Teräspantteri for a very well played game. His artillery skills are exceptionally good, best what I've ever played against.
20 turns I hang in there, Crushing defeat. He got my HQ.
I'll let the winner post the scores... I wait weeks before I check in here again si that I won't see the scores ever again.

Here it comes...

Score:
Japan 10504 - USMC 1596 Decisive victory.
About the artillery... All I can say that my gold spots were spot on.
I really like the Japanese OOB and most certainly will be using it again as soon as possible. I also fell for jungle. After all those countless fights in European landscapes I found jungle a very refreshing environment for a battle.
