Forgot to show the USSR set-up earlier.

2 GARRS are at Murmansk. CAV and ART at Minsk. The rest of the western forces are positioned in the south.

Man I am so out of practice playing the Allies!

The ART could have been scrapped but was saved by its movement allowance, which could be useful. I remove the lesser of the two land-based Swordfish, the Anson and they very worst carrier fighters - and there is a lot of competition....

I got 2 Nigerian and a South African TERR which is not helpful [;)]. I've set up the Royal Navy in 4 fleets - Home, Mediterranean and Force H. The large fleet in Bombay will be broken up and passed around to these three commands. A number of cruiser squadrons are also dotted around. Malta has an Infantry in place. TRS are set up to escort the BEF, while the Liners will hopefully be available to transport troops from all over the Empire to where needed.

The South African TERR is actually one of the best TERR CW can get. Because it is considered a Major Power unit. So no hassle in sending it to any other CW minor like Egypt, or Burma, and so on. And it can co-operate, if I recall correctly, with other CW minor units.

Although two Nigerian territorials seems.. well.. one to many. Although didn't they do a nice job in Italian East Africa?

There are ‘Europe’ (incl. Africa) & ‘Any Map’ TERR to draw, iirc. The South African TERRs are some of the best to draw.

Is best to scrap the 2-2 French ART (& older CW motorized ART as well), because the AT/AA units are the most valuable French pieces. So much so that I have come to feel that using the ‘Artillery’ optional units adds about a turn to the time required for Germany to beat France.

Main French set-up. There are also INF at Algiers and Beruit. TERRS at Beruit, Djibouti and Noumea. 2 squadrons of 4 CA/CL are at Algiers and Beruit. Rest of the navy at Marseilles except for Bearn and CA at Brest.

Yes I should have made clear - I was referring particularly to the Nigerians as the Liner needs to transport the Saffers and then head all the way back and potentially more. Quite happy with the Saffers though [:)].

Ah. Thank you for the translation. Although I still don't get it. Just put the poor to work. Or draft them into the armed forces.
