Here is the link to the file. The problem is with the editor. Cannot add any French units without the programme crashing.

Hmm. Something must have gotten corrupted. You can't even remove a deployed French unit and then redeploy it.

One thing you could try is to save the OOB and the map, then load them both under a new scenario. You'd lose all your deployment, but that would be better than starting over.

I tried saving the scenario as xml and then loading it but that was corrupted as well.

Thanks for the advice Bob. I did as you suggested but the same problem occured so I have started anew. Using the lowest time period and distance I would like to get the unit attack values in the 5 to 20 range. On my first attempt I got a 2 to 10 range, so I doubled the size of the squads and blow me the range dropped to 2 to 6! How can I get back to a higher range?

The values on the counters are relative numbers. They are scaled to the largest value on any unit (naval units omitted) in the scenario. That value is scaled so that it is around 31. Everything else is scaled to that. So, you must have some very large unit someplace. Check your OOB.

See 17.3.

Brilliant Bob! I see how it works now. Solved in one swoop. Many thanks.
