Hi mrob1169 -- can you please send me your saved game file? It will be in Documents\My Games\CloseCombatTheBloodyFirst\Saves. If you can compress/zip it and post here that would be a big help.

Hello, I downloaded the game just a couple of days ago and am having a similar error. I receive a crash message when opening the game, but am still able to start the game and play. However, when I try to advance to the next battle in my save file I receive an "Unhandled Exception" error message. I've attached my saved game if you could please take a look.
Let me know if there is any other information you need to take a look at it. Thanks!

The latest update (1.1.7) is available as a beta update on Steam right now and contains a fix for this issue. This update will go live to other platforms (GOG/Matrix) after a short beta test period.
