Joe,
I thought that sounded like an Australian place name. Sounds a lovely place. Bet it's better than my office right now, no matter what the temperature, heh!

Be a man and do the Brindabellas in June. I have camped there in June. The water in the billy froze over night. The road out was frozen muud. I only had 2 wheels in those days and didn't fall off once comming out that frozen mud track.
Eh. I did it walking in November (must have been 1996 I think) and it rained, snowed, hailed, and rained in that order. Lots of fun
Cheers

Its a river, that runs between Mittagong and Yerrandri. It flows into Warragamba.
Its situated in a beautiful wilderness area where I have done loads of bushwalking.
This year we plan to do a walk from Mittagong to Katoomba (about 4 days).
We are also in the early planning stages of a walk from the Brindabellas to Thredbo. About 10 - 14 days. Probably next April.
No need to walk it...
We have these neat things called cars.

Cars = people.
I like wilderness - preferrably with a broadband connection.

What is this becoming - Airborne Assault: Highway to the Back of Beyond? Hey Joe (I'm sure there is a song there somewhere;) ) try living in the UK - once out of town - wilderness and no broadband:mad: . Airborne Assault is one of the few games I can play online and even that is subject to chronic slowdown.

I like very much the new graphics. I think that you are doing an excellent work with them. However, in order to please everybody, I think that the better compromise is the to use the new (better looking) graphics as the default ones, but allowing the user to switch (by pressing a hotkey) to a graphic representation where the topographic level colors are plotted over the rest of the graphics, and in this way are visible without doubt.
What do you think about this proposal?

Thanks for your suggestion. Not bad. I'm sure we'll come up with something for everyone.

Just got the Demo yesterday. WOW! I havn't been been excited about a wargame since RTM seemed iminent some 4 or 5 years ago.
I like the improvement in graphics. I do have to agree with other posters that its hard to see the countor lines now though. But it is better than the Demo version graphics, and I can see the roads a little more clearly in the new screen shots. I wasn't sure if some of the lines in the demo were roads or borders or what (not having a manual kind of sucks).
You are at the very least on the right track with the graphics. Keep it up.
Request: Please Please PLEASE Do a COMPLETE manual (please). The Manual for Uncommon Valor was very lacking and forced me to come to the forums to sort things out. This is unacceptable for a game costing money, especially if it costs extra to get a printed copy.
